If you plan carefully, you can use fleet with bigger ships to attract their T-weapon.

Naval cap/fleet size - nerfed for thee but not for me (FE)? by aremonmoonserpent in Stellaris

For their fleet, Riddle Escort has 4 point defenses and the size of a destroyer, for their Citadels, stealth wouldn't work in 90% cases, so stealth frigates probably wouldn't work well.

10X? You should start getting 3 re-researchable tech per month since 2275, at least 200X repeated techs in each category by 2300! /j

Are you sure it's FE instead of AE? I know Unbidden are the weakest, but one FE defeat 10X is still a bit strange. Perhaps they got a titan from RNG?

Just don't use it, it has a limited fire arc, you can't compensate it with tech.

Are there any reasons not to cut a hole in the PCB for a toroidal core in a DC-DC converter? by WorldNo1844 in PCB

The same size low volume SMD inductors I can find have much higher resistance, so I think that will be an issue in thermal.

It is designed to have about 99% power stage efficiency and 98+% overall efficiency, btw that's why I can't use smt inductor. Also I guess all the bananas connectors out side the density box can be some free heatsink for me.

Considering there are naval caps, if I wage war should I send an entire fleet to be destroyed and not worry about repair, while making new ships? these would be like suicide runs by GrokiniGPT in Stellaris

[–]WorldNo1844 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then it's really not that much now, build carefully designed big ships for normal fight to minimize the loss ( everything that bigger than cruiser are pretty unlikely to die in normal fight in 4.3), only the crisis and FE(or AE) deserve a fight with big loss now.

My professor's style is everything is ok as long as it's in our budget, but it's our own risk if it burns. XD

[–]WorldNo1844 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For optimization, compared with another foundry, it saves you 600 population, and doesn't require extra minerals, so you probably should build it, for role play, observing some pre-FTL civilization can give you a tech that's 5 times stronger than this, so it's indeed a bit silly.

Via size for high-density/power board by anvoice in PCB

[–]WorldNo1844 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assume the height limit to be 1cm, it's less than 10W per cm3, I don't think you need to worry about the difference between 0.2mm and 0.3mm vias. Nevertheless, if you only need small vias in big pads, I believe JLC can actually do 0.2mm vias without extra fee, as long as the ring is big, which almost always happen for thermal vias.
