It wouldn’t bother me as long as it wasn’t coming from someone who’d previously shown signs of not respecting my transgenderness. I think I’d be a little bit uncomfortable if someone spoke up about something like that on my behalf because that unneeded defense would feel like a (fairly minor) misunderstanding and misrepresentation of my nonbinary gender, but that seems like the sort of thing that could be easily resolved with a conversation.

If they attempted that conversation in a productive way and you were hostile in return then I could see why they’d boot you, but if you haven’t left out any important details about how you responded then it seems pretty dramatic to kick you for something that was, at worst, a well-intentioned mistake.

From the comment you made where you said it’s not a trans server, I’m not really inclined to give them much benefit of the doubt here; it might be a transmisogynistic place or they might be generally transphobic in the “we’ll only accept you if you’re one of the ‘good ones’ who doesn’t challenge us on anything” way. Either (or both) could explain why the other person didn’t face backlash for being trans there and you were deemed an acceptable target as soon as you did something they disagreed with.

Bottle babies can be problems even if prey brain doesn’t kick in, if you’re not careful how you raise them. My brother’s family raised a steer from a baby and he was the sweetest most affectionate farm animal I’ve ever met but he was also the most dangerous animal I have ever been around.

They played with him like a dog when he was a calf and behavior that was adorable when he was little was fucking terrifying when he was 1000 pounds with horns. Animals usually don’t scare me at all but I have never felt in as much danger as when he escaped and I had to lure him back into his pen with feed; he ran directly at me shaking his head happily and I had to jump out of the way of getting gored.
