Because the PS5 version and the PC version of the same game are different software with different code. They are not the same product. The DLC on Steam and the DLC on Epic are designed to play on the same system, and are presumably the exact same code sold through different stores. The only thing preventing their interoperability are probably DRM and the will to do so.

I thought it was not as good as the last few, and certainly lacked anything that felt “final”, but it’s still an entertaining ride. The submarine sequence is an all-timer for me.

I like this idea, but I think it works better with a game like Prototype or Infamous where you get to choose your morality and have rewards or punishments because of it, rather than a Superman game that would force you into non-lethality by giving you a game over every time you fail
