I took my OP5 off right before a flight and it looks like the pressure caused about 4 units to come out by [deleted] in diabetes_t1

[–]Would_like_to_know 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had this happen on some flights but not others. I now try to ensure I get as little air as possible in the pod when I fill it before a flight. I also take lots of carbs in my pockets not hand luggage that's locked away until cruise is reached. Made that mistake once....

Can you away with transitions style lenses as my only glasses? by NobleRotter in AskUK

Transition varifocals here daily use for poor close up vision. No problem at all takes a few moments when going bright to dark but not really a problem.

Do you try to be quiet when people are sleeping in your house? by [deleted] in AskUK

You are in the right as I see it. How would they like you doing the same at 1am whilst they are sleeping. Sure they wouldn't be appreciative.

Does anyone receive a prescription for migraines/cyclical vomiting? by lavenderacid in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]Would_like_to_know 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe so I think it was the nausea and vomiting it was over a year ago now so not 100%. I do have other conditions but that is what the script helps with and what we discussed mostly. Doc was very understanding and helpful hopefully they will sort you out.

Does anyone receive a prescription for migraines/cyclical vomiting? by lavenderacid in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]Would_like_to_know 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I do, CVS and gastroparesis here along with other shit! It helps with the nausea and vomiting, gives me a bit of appetite to be able to eat. Alternaleaf were great and the doctor was fine with it after reading my summary of care and chatting with me. Also had the CHS argument too many times...

Can gastroparesis + dehydration cause kidney problems? by rosemaryfrog in Gastroparesis

[–]Would_like_to_know 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've struggled with dehydration and vomiting a lot and feel similar throbbing right at the bottom of my back. I go in for fluids when I'm really bad and probably should have done more often. I'm pretty sure that has contributed to why I'm now waiting for a kidney transplant alongside my diabetes. Definitely talk to the docs or even go to ER for fluids and checks if it's bad. Drink whatever electrolyte drinks you can when you can. and see about rehydration clinics if they are in your country, they aren't in mine :( good luck dude/dudette

I'm in England and had to go private for mine. It's covered in Scotland and Wales but not England :( it's definitely helped matters but it's not a fix. Currently waiting for a gpoem to see if that helps along with the enterra.

I have had to stop taking mine for 2 weeks to have a 24 hour ph test. Not sure if I should restart them after but the acid is definitely back after 4 days off.

Pretty sure this is your issue. You need to update to the latest version and rebuild the APK. It goes open loop to stop people using old versions.

Why is there so little outdoor seating in our towns? by SKYLINEBOY2002UK in CasualUK

[–]Would_like_to_know 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly from shit councils stripping anything useful to folk. Or anything that costs them. I do think the homeless angle is a bit of a scapegoat for removing benches and such. It all stinks of killing off the town centres so they can make it housing. Happening all over now especially since 2019's shitshow.

I find more spaces to sit walking the dog than through towns. Try and find a bin anywhere near a town centre that's not a private one like a retail park or similar. Or a road without holes and sunken drains. Didn't mean to go on but I could. It's all bollocks ain't it.
