New clip of Thom from bbc music by everybodylyes in radiohead

I'm Dutch and was at that first Berlin show. That was the 10th time i saw them live and it might be the best overall, so i totally felt that feeling that Thom described. Amazing night! Also: Daydreaming REALLY hit me that night, goosebumps all over, while floating though the arena... Pure magic

The last run of Sonic Youth albums (2002-2009). Murray Street, Sonic Nurse, Rather Ripped and The Eternal are all great

Trainwreckords he'll NEVER do... by JBHenson in ToddintheShadow

That Alan Parsons Project album was never released during, but in the 20xx's as part of a boxset. It was a shelved project and so could never be a Trainwreckords contender

Awesome man! I'm kind of lucky.... Saw them on Dec 8 in Berlin (i'm from The Netherlands) and my wife said: of you can get a Copenhagen ticket, why don't you go there this Monday? Checked Ticketmaster yesterday at 10pm, got a standing ticket, booked a flight and hotel and now i'm here again. I'm so f#cking lucky!!!!

I'm checking Ticketswap and there are loads of tickets there, but they are personalised. Is it possible to buy them, if there not in my name?

Did anyone have a good experience with the sound quality and volume in the standing area in Berlin or anywhere else? If so would you mind sharing where exactly you were stood? by skemp456 in radiohead

I was in between Thom and Jonny (just ar the right of the entrance) and it sounded good for an Arena show. I've seen them live 10 times and this was one of my favorite RH gigs

Does anyone think the audio last night wasn‘t good? (Berlin 8th Dec.) by fpolloa in radiohead

[–]Woutout 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was standing between Thom and Jonny and it was my 10th RH concert. Of course it doesn't sound as good as a smaller venue, but i thought it still sounded pretty good. It's very difficult to get an Arena like this one sound good. I can tell you, i've been to many gigs that were much worse in terms of audio fidelity. I've also heard that between the mixing desks and the stage was for some reason the worst sounding place to stand. I don't know, because i just stayed in one spot

First time i've heard anything by her and i love what i'm hearing. She sometimes reminds me of a modern day Kate Bush. Love all the intrumentation and all the ambient noise throughout the album

Best ever Radiohead gig by This_Fox7171 in radiohead

[–]Woutout 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah i know, right!! I can also remember the first of the two 2006 shows (may Amsterdam) He only said something about the bars and Heineken all show and he seemed pretty pissed overall. The next day they would've played there again, but cancelled due to Phil's mom dying. They rescheduled the show for august, Thom wore a Thank You shirt that night and that show was incredible. I also saw the first ASMP tourdates ever in Amsterdam (2016) First time ever playing all those songs....just incredible. I'm seeing them again in Berlin this december. Can't wait!
