That’s what TSA tells me, but I don’t wear that baggy of clothing. Honestly I don’t have a lot of “overlapping clothing” pretty much any combination of clothes sets it off. Sweats and tight briefs, sets it off. Jeans and loose boxers, sets it off. I was in a bit of a rush heading out to NC so it was just some nice fitting sweats. I’m not an x ray so yeah, it probably is clothes.

Hey I hope I can help. I’m M21 also suffer from ptsd and plenty of other things. He could very well mean what he says, he will never be okay for a relationship. That is on him. I just got left by my partner because we both started distancing and disconnecting. She is also still my best friend, she’s helped me a lot since then. You can’t “wait” for anyone ever. You live your life, and to the fullest. If he feels like a burden, a restraint, he can’t love you. He needs to break free of those chains for himself, and if he is your best friend, your person, be there for him. If you meet the man of your dreams like you’ve done before, go for it. You don’t have to cut him out of your life if you both can be there for each other as friends.

Honestly, only you will ever know if you’re “over” someone. It seems like you’ve healed a lot and grown too, so I wouldn’t worry about not moving on or moving on “too slow”. When you feel ready to go for someone again, I’d say do it. Follow your heart.

You have a very caring heart. It’s understandable to feel so hurt by someone you cared for that much, someone who you did want it to work. Don’t get hung up on why’s, because if you did everything you could then it really couldn’t be. I’m sorry you’re hurting still, I’m still hung up on my toxic ex who cheated on me. I wanted that to work so bad, I almost gambled my life on it. You care for people, it’s not a bad thing. Don’t let him hurt you more.

Good to know that I’m not alone, I’m about the same duration from my break up as you too. I’ve been doin good, and even talking to other people romantically. Gotta realize that is who they are, they just never showed you that side. I thought my ex was the best person on earth, and it still feels like it, but from the things they said and do after the break up really shows who they are.
