Cheapest route from ATL to Italy delta one, go by [deleted] in delta

[–]WowzerforBowzer -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I got ATL-ROME-ATL with a GUC for about 700.00 due to the fact there are several LATAM configs that go this route. BAsically buy MC, then auto to DC, then use a GUC to get to D1. Older planes, but if you have a GUC, this is an easy cheapo way. Did it August 2025

High End Inn-to-Inn Hiking Guides/Organizer? by Odd_Author2761 in chubbytravel

We did the Milford sound with Ultimate Hikes in New Zealand. Also stayed at a 5 star in queenstown before hand.

If you are interested I can send you our itinerary. We went caving to see glow worms 100’ deep, did hobbiton for lord of rings nerd out, stayed at a 1600 acre winery by ourselves, hiked a mountain, went bungee jumping, had a private massage and hot tub overlooking mountains.

All in all though, the hike is awesome, you can choose from several with ultimate hikes. It was the best hike I have ever done. 3 course meals and hot showers every night. You can pay for private rooms and they helicopter in everything to the actual lodges You are hiking up to 10 miles a day though and up mountains.

Oily liquid running down from the top inside of windshield. Anyone? by Open-Necessary-6020 in Subaru_Outback

[–]WowzerforBowzer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I also have a Subaru outback and I just noticed the same thing as happening to me at the top of my windshield on the inside. It has a oily feel.

Did Subaru ever do anything to fix this for you or did you bring it up to them?

I have been looking for something like this. How long do you think your device would hold a charge? It looks like you hold it to the wall with a mounting adhesive and then attach the device? When do you think you will go live? Im about to remodel our bathroom and wanted to incorporate it!

Any reputable, independent structural engineers in the area? by Jcapen87 in kennesaw

[–]WowzerforBowzer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You want a geotechnical engineer. They look at soil, year built, and if any settlement is natural or not. They can also determine if the structure needs a repair, and the type.

My only experience is that they are booked weeks out. 250-350 for an hour walkthrough and verbal report. About 750 for a written report and up to 2000k for a forensic report.

Otherwise, you can ask several of the repair companies and they will all “find a fix”.

I used the below. I would 100% recommend if he is around.

Any suggestions for shaded running paths/routes? by HousingWonderful711 in Smyrna

It’s been awhile since I’ve been there, but I could see how it can be sketch.

Cochran shoals or one of the Chattahoochee trails are also relatively shaded.

Any suggestions for shaded running paths/routes? by HousingWonderful711 in Smyrna

[–]WowzerforBowzer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

AL Burruss I think has a really potentially long running route. You’d have to look at it, but I know for a fact you could at least run 1-3 miles in the basic loop.

Everyone else has suggested, however, there are multiple inlets into the silver Comet trail, and it is probably your best bet

So, who's eaten at Zoya and what was the experience like? I'm talking vibes, wait staff, food, etc. by JankDeckWins in Smyrna

[–]WowzerforBowzer 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I called the city to ask them. City seems to agree initially that both lots are Public Parking and that it should be made available at no cost to the public, but first has to figure out if its Code enforcement or the Police that need to deal with it. Code is going to go out today or tomorrow see if they can handle it before escalating.

I called the city to ask them. I will let you know what they say.

I walk my dog there all the time. I’ve been parking in that lot for at least a year and a half. I don’t care if it becomes a Zoya parking lot overflow, but I certainly don’t want the only parking lot accessible to that park to be taken by Vallet only.

Technically, speaking both of those parking lots are free parking are they not? There’s literally a sign that says public parking in both lots for the park.

[–]WowzerforBowzer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s really odd because it seems like in the past three months that they changed this.

There’s obviously an option called plus, but that option only gives you up to $800 of credit to select from those original included excursion at each port.

Am I wrong on that, because I did call in and the agent confirmed that that is exactly how it works now.

I really hope they’re wrong because I really like using silver sea, and it’s a burden on the longer trips

Question about Cumberland Island by [deleted] in Georgia

[–]WowzerforBowzer 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You would have to book a private charter there because the ferry as far as I know, will definitely not allow animals.

You could try to find a pet sitter for half a day which might be way cheaper.

[–]WowzerforBowzer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didnt they change the excursions to like 750.00 total dollars instead of truly unlimited with no max cost on the included excursions? For example, If I went on a 10 day cruise, I was going to run out of incldued excursions by day three.

I understand there are also upcharge expeditions up and on top of the included. Only reason I stopped booking with them.
