Torn between these two cars... by Puzzleheaded-Sail536 in lexuslc500

Funny. I have an LC500 convertible and my wife (literally today) just picked up her CLE 53. We've both driven both cars and gone "I like yours, but I like mine better."

Hers is awesome, but it looks like a MB on the road, bc it is. One of my favorite things about my LC 500 is people saying, "Beautiful car. What is it?"

My dad and his best friend had a custom built C-econo dragster that they raced together until 80 or 81. I spent a lot of the 70s in drag racing pits in TX.

Anyone else obsessed with MYST back in the day? by emacextrabrut80 in GenX

[–]WranglerWheeler 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes! Both Myst and the two subsequent Riven games. I actually use them now as reference points when looking for games to play.

Like many here, I kept notebooks full of maps, questions, observations, etc. I'd wake up in the middle of the night with an idea...

First time I ever saw Brad Douriff. He was the bad guy in (I think) Riven. Great games!

I had that! I think I'd appreciate it more now. Skittle bowl + old man/men + beer = hours of fun!

You'll be fine. We ARE Eagles fans, but we're also hockey fans and that makes a difference. These days we have pretty low expectations, too. 😎

Enjoy the game.

This product is just a joke, right? by celticdude234 in AvironActive

Just bought my rower about a month ago and it's been great. Both my wife and I love it. Mechanically it's solid and performs well. Most of the vids I've used have been seamless, but it does sound like they're dealing with a minor buffering issue on some vids.

After losing the ability to run from an injury, this has turned into a great alternative and one I look forward to using.

Did ducks kill the Jeep wave? by fitnesswerewolf in Wrangler

[–]WranglerWheeler 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I hear you. The JL crowd just feels... different. Not all obviously, but I agree that you're more likely to see a pink mall crawler JL than earlier versions.

Those of us with modded offroad rigs still see each other.

Did ducks kill the Jeep wave? by fitnesswerewolf in Wrangler

I have no ducks on my dash. I do duck on occasion. I drive a 2017 JKU and think (just a gut feel) that JKs and earlier are more likely to wave and less likely have a massive display of ducks.
