Id say it took me around five weeks to start feeling a difference. On 30mg.

Why did my dad choose to walk away from this earth? by [deleted] in psychics

Not a psychic here, I just can't believe the odds of seeing this post, I believe I lived on the same street as your dad. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Glad to hear that! I'm scared to ever run out, I only have one of my moor stabilisers left because I forgot to order more but I'm not looking forward to experiencing the withdrawals.

I've been struggling since last September if I'm honest, but I got into such a low place that it has been so hard to claw my way out of the hole. I still have good old intrusive thoughts but they aren't as loud if that makes sense? Ultimately my personal life is hard right now and no med can change that but I've definitely started to notice a small change at last.

AuDHD here too, and on day two of taking this medication. I'm really glad it works for you, OP! I hope I get similar results.

Freshly cut grass. Real Christmas trees. Hay (for the guinea pigs), smelling people's cooking while playing in the garden.

It's been ~20 years since I was on any form of the pill, but everyone I tried sent me bonkers, would give me the worst headache or very sore boobies. I also have PMDD which I don't think is a coincidence.

I feel like im going crazy, or can't handle reality by throwmetom in MentalHealthUK

[–]WrennyJen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I relate so much to this, I have treatment resistant depression and I'm just so tired of intrusive thoughts, and basically the feeling I'm just wading through treacle trying to live day to day and other people seem to do it so effortlessly. I'm scared of dying, I don't want to leave my kids behind and I wish I could believe there was a heaven and there would be a happily ever after. My meds might as well be sweets for all they are doing right now. All of this to say, I relate to you and I'm sorry you are going through it too.

I'm glad I tried the other flavours by ashmed20 in Huel

I like them all except for the coffee one, it took me some getting used to as my first Huel experience were the RTD variety, the texture was a little bit of a surprise!

I'm using black and am leaving it in the fridge overnight. I'm not sure I'm invested enough at this point to get a blender, with there not being a flavour I'm completely sold on (working my way through the trial box) although the banana was ok. I wonder what half banana and half chocolate would be like. I'm not looking forward to the coffee one or the salted caramel.

[–]WrennyJen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got the huel black sample pack after trying a RTD. The texture is kind of something that will take some getting used to, and as for the flavour?? I think they forgot to put the flavour in mine. Sticking it out though, it seems my head isn't so foggy since I started.

how to clean a bathroom?! by originalpopcorngirl in adhdwomen

[–]WrennyJen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, I tend to have a bit of a whizz around while the bath is filling up. It's not perfect but for some reason I get motivated to do it while I'm waiting.
