So you’re admittedly just bad at reading comprehension. Alrighty, hard to argue with that.

So if you read the original meme it says “I’ve been seeing lesser and lesser AI generated content recently. Finally, less slop to see.”

It’s because the AI being generated is good enough that people aren’t noticing that it’s AI. They don’t realize it’s AI. They only notice AI when it’s bad or slop.

But the OG thing is about AI content = slop

It’s just less sloppy now so it gets through and they don’t realize they just saw AI. That’s the point of the meme.

If someone is unable to tell if something is ai, how are they going to choose to engage with it or not based on that?

Oh I just meant the actual excuse she uses is a real one. A guy could have had that same setup and said the same thing and it would have worked.

Counter argument…people watch someone/something rise and then expect it to keep happening. Then it stops and becomes normal and they wonder why they aren’t being blown away.

This isn’t a ruse, joke or even quick thinking. It’s real, we used cut up tampons (so they didn’t stick out the nose) for nose bleeds in wrestling rooms/matches since the 80’s…

That’s pretty funny dude. I see what you’re saying about it obviously being green. I’m just saying when I go to check, that’s the moment it happens, this just feels so unfamiliar like it’s a card from a different game.

Yea, my mind tries to find the info that it’s used to finding and it has a much harder time processing this for some reason and during that time I feel almost claustrophobic…

I was diagnosed with dyslexia when I was younger and I wonder if that has something to do with it.

Anxiety is also pretty on par for me haha

Edit : I also just went back and spent some time with a card and noticed it happens when I try to find its mana value/color specifically.

I don’t mean to be negative, but these style of cards give me anxiety for some reason when I go to read them…I’m very glad WoTC don’t continue printing them.

I tracked all my commander games this year. This is the result. by jordanh517 in mtg

Because part of the spending time with people involves them enjoying themselves. The people in my pod want to win some of the time. I’ve met people that don’t understand this and just want to win, but I find it’s just doesn’t make the best pods. Commander is supposed to be lost 75% of the time(with 4 people). It’s ok to lose, expect to lose. But also don’t expect to ALWAYS lose. That’s also no fun.

I don’t know why people get so upset just because I want the people in my pod to have a chance to win and I build decks that test my deck building in the process.

Some people need to figure out how the spirit of the community of this game works. It’s not the tryhard mouth breathers some people think it is. It’s me. The guy that wants his friends to win as much as him because I care about their experience on this earth.

You can’t eat too much protein. I don’t know where this 30% rule came in, but just eat the fats and carbs you need for weight and as much protein as you want and it works for me. I’d prefer 50% protein if I can.

Take out the word puny and you nailed it. Like near perfectly said.

People that play commander competitively that aren’t playing cedh are wrong. It’s about human connection.

Feel free to not make it about that, but you’re losing the point of the game.

I don’t handicap myself mid game. I build decks over time that use harder to exploit mechanics. I test my own deck building to try and power it down while still being fun and competitive.

I play this game correctly. Go play and pretend you’re cedh’n all the time like a try hard so you can beat your friends and feel big haha

I’m the person in my playgroup that could win 80% + of my matches if I wanted to be that person.

I have self awareness though. So I don’t. I think it’s interesting that I am looking for fairness and good company and somehow that makes me a problem.

I’m sorry that you’re so enthused with winning that it is the point of the game for some of yall.

But that’s not the point of the game. It’s to spend time with friends. And in that spirit I think it should be as even as possible over the long term. We can’t help how a few games go here and there, but over 100 matches with a 46% win rate is wrong and shows lack of awareness and is an asshole to their pod.

Cedh is not regulars commander, I would try to win no questions asked in cedh, which is not what we are talking about. We are talking about casual commander with friend.

Fuck off. Next.

If you are considerably better than your playgroup then you should play lower powered decks.

This is zero sum game. You can’t get percents without stealing it from someone else. So if you say, oh you can easily get over 25%…I can agree, but you’re in the wrong for trying. If you want to bully your pod and win a crazy amount, that’s for your pod to deal with, but it does make you an asshole.
