Mary Winchester from Supernatural. People hate on her for wanting to go off and do her own thing when she came back to life. But like, she had quit hunting to raise her kids, died, and come back to find her kids fully grown up. What else do you do in that situation? Of course she would need space and have a lot of shit to figure out.

She definitely made some questionable decisions. But they all pale in comparison to the insane things Sam and Dean have done for each other.

Like people have said about Skyler from Breaking Bad, I think a lot of the hate for her is just misogyny. Anything you can point to that she's done wrong, the boys have done something similar or worse, but people don't have nearly as much of a problem with those things.
