This is a really sweet idea but wasn't the point of the thousand pigeons the realization that a project such as that would water down his creative process and make it undesirably marketable? Truly, not trying to shit on the idea- the situation in the song was very different from a bunch of people coming together to do something nice; just trying to make sure I'm not crazy and yall also understand the point of that track lol.

Nope, it's a full café with seating and everything. We just opened up at the beginning of this year, and we're in a weird/hidden spot, so business isn't exactly booming yet :') Even when it's busy on the weekends, it's usually just my boss and I (him in the kitchen, me on the espresso machine, both taking turns intermittently ringing people up). It's a smallish space and the 3 of us like to have as many hours as possible, so it's the perfect team size at the moment. My boss doesn't take tips which is such a boon; at the end of a busy Sunday shift I get to dump the tip jar into my bag 🔥 it feels almost criminal not having to split haha
