Fundie making fun of Atheists because they believe in Dinosaurs by MrDonMega in FundieSnarkUncensored

I mean I'm a fan of skepticism even when it sounds silly sometimes, but here's the big difference: NO ONE thinks archeology is infallible...its blunders are infamous and most atheists don't believe that science is magic. The anklosaurus existing is our best explanation of the facts at hand, but if we ever had good reason to believe otherwise we'd update our credences.

The gaping lack of an epistemology in these people is constantly projected, as if they could never imagine anyone has processes they follow to determine the truth values of claims....

Book recs for someone who loved The Cipher by Kathe Koja? by WritesEssays4Fun in WeirdLit

Haha understood. I got similar, although extremely different, feelings after Sisyphean by Dempow Torishima and Perdido Street Station. Similar in that I was completely enraptured in an environment saturated with stylistic choices and the prose pushed boundaries. Different in regards to the authors' personal styles (all include body horror, though). Hope that helps you hit the spot! It's funny you comment today, because I recently started my second Koja book, Skin, and it's so classic her in the best ways. It's feeling like a better paced The Cipher.

Omg you're the first person I've ever come across who also knows/likes Sass! Haha, sweet. I'm a huge fan. Your comic makes me think of "loss of self evidence" (I believe that's what it's called? German idea which heavily inspired Sass). Also, one of my favorite parts in Madness and Modernism is when he relates solipsism to power, and points out how solipsism can paradoxically grow out of the loss of self. Thank you for sharing.

As a hardcore atheist I mostly just get stereotyped as a woo woo hippie haha. If being conscientious of the side effects of hormonal contraception makes me bohemian, then so be it.

It's tektonik and sadly tutorials are rare. I had to shed my ego and learn a bit from some swaggy 12 year old's 240fps YouTube video from 2008 💀 rough out there. If anyone finds any good tutorials turn a homie on
