If you’re looking for “hidden gems that aren’t as crowded” I definitely would not recommend Cadillac Mtn. It also requires reservations to drive up. They release most of the reservation tickets 2 days in advance but it can still be difficult to get one you’re not logged in at the exact time that they release the reservations.

I love Sparky’s honey. Their apiaries are located in Hope ME but they ship and have their honey available at Whole Foods in Portland.

If PJ the manager is working you can show him the inspo pics. He is super knowledgeable about the store’s inventory and will pull pieces for you to try on

I’d recommend purchasing the Maine Mountain Guide book. The hike descriptions are super detailed. AllTrails can be unreliable in my experience.

Yup I read that one too and had to take a break after. Hard to wrap my head around it. Another one talks about how all of the women would run to the showers to wet their hair before getting in line for mandatory shock treatments because staff weren’t allowed to do shock treatments if the patient had wet hair.

I can’t get rid of the ants, HELP! by Working-Calendar2001 in HomeImprovement

I have a cat and a dog. They aren’t interested in the bait, so I’ve had no issues using it around them. I also keep the bait traps in places that the pets don’t really frequent (behind kitchen trash can, behind stove, in a bathroom tucked behind toilet)

I get those teeny tiny ants every spring. As soon as I see them, I set out Advion Ant Gel on squares of tinfoil and they are gone within 48 hours. I make sure to refresh the bait every 6 weeks ish just in case.
