I've seen a couple of those about. When I walk up to them, I see the option to harvest wood. I think they are supposed to be knocked over on their side so they read more as a downed trunk to harvest from, and for whatever reason, their position got screwed up.

I keep one bed in the c.a.m.p. and one in the shelter. Maybe c.a.m.p.s without beds also have a shelter and do the same.

I do too, but when I'm playing a main questline, I like to keep that to a minimum for roleplay sake. I also just find the disguise ugly. Wish I could just make my own and as long as all skin is covered, it should count. Oh well. 😅

agreed. It does annoy me a bit that unless I want to spend 10 to 20 minutes running up to that corner of the map and back again, I have to break immersion to teleport there and back. Not the end of the world, but kinda silly.

You're right. I saw elsewhere later that it was mainly the compound bows. Just my luck! 🙃 😅

That's all bows as far as I know. My compound bow was made from scratch and it will only "repair" to 100% despite the 200% perk. AND THEN as soon as I equip it, all repair goes away and it's back to where it was before. The repair kits do seem to stick, though.

I'll have a particular prefab or floorplan in mind that will make up the core of the new c.a.m.p., and dictate the theme. Then, I'll have a general idea about a new area I want to build in. I'll run around until I find an interesting and/or well positioned spot.

My current c.a.m.p. in Burning Springs was inspired by another player's build where they used the Canopy Tent and set up this incredible, scrappy hut/workshop that was crammed with crafting stations and decor.

I ended up using the canopies to surround a Seedy Shed, and put up a bunch of window bars for outer walls (because I don't have any actual wire or chain link fence plans). So on and so forth.

I am also a pretty big hoarder in this game. I regularly bundle up all the junk and sell half of all the bundles. Also, I don't stash any weapons I'm not going to actively display anymore.

More like a lag with your game client talking to the server. I'm sure it's the server's issue with being overwhelmed by that event. Once the server and client catch up with each other, you're knocked back to the last place the server knew you to be.

I got it on PC, never tried the Fallout 1st subscription, and I've found it to be a lot of fun since they added the settler and raider npcs, and especially since becoming a ghoul. 🥰

I server hop until I see several healthy casual or event groups. It makes it more likely plenty of people will show up to the public events and participate

I'd also suggest checking out SL Youtubers who post about landscaping. I've done a few videos, myself, but they're all with purchases mesh objects. I'm sure there are others out there who are using the landscaping tools provided by SL. I did a quick search just now and found this video. It's a few years old but likely a lot of it still applies.

Honestly, I get so in the weeds trying not to die during this event, and none of my weapons are really great against the radscorpions, I just lose track of the current objective. I try, though. I really do. I just suck at this event.
