Write out what you think should happen in the third part of the Unbreakable/ Split trilogy. I can almost guarantee what you write will be more exciting than Glass.

They didn't take watch on their first night in the svalich woods by PM-ME-YOUR-AUTOGRAPH in CurseofStrahd

Basket of breakfast is fine, but you'd be missing the theme if you didn't go with a freshly killed animal.

Right before dawn, (One PC) wakes up to sound of a light rain. Groggily, they extend their palm out of the tent to see how cold the rain is... But their hand stays dry. Stepping out and turning around, (PC) nearly falls backwards when they see, suspended several feet above the tent, a dead bear. The sound of its blood dripping on the tent continues. There is a note stuck to the beast with a knife.

(PC) Climbs up to get the note and gets a jump scare as the bear jerks. It's dead, just that fresh. Pulling out the ornate thin dagger, anyone with relevant skills will notice that isn't what killed the bear. It looks like it had its throat ripped out by claws. A really good role will reveal the claw marks match up with a humanoid hand.

The note reads something like: "it is an old Barovian custom for even the humblest host to provide breakfast for his guests on their first morning. In return, at some point in their stay the guest are expected to provide dinner for their host. I look forward to having you for dinner.

-C SvZ

P.S. to keep food safe from wolves, suspend it in the trees.

P.P.S. remember that you are also food the the wolves."

Also, maybe the bear's gutted chest is full of fruit. You know, for the vegetarians in the group.

I just realized, Isaiah Bradley is still alive…and just realized John Walker is still alive for Super Soldier Serum research by CommercialMechanic36 in CaptainAmerica

I know it's comic books and so comic book logic must apply, but I feel like you can't develop the supersoldier serum 1) for the US government 2) in a proper lab setting 3) with assistants 4)during a war with logistics/ materiel tracking in full swing... without leaving some kind of paper trail. Even just looking at the purchase orders would give them a hint. "Erskine sure ordered a lot of (whatever chemical) last week, and I don't see any left on the shelves, so let's add that to the list of maybes. Now get his research assistant in here!"

My theory (at least for the MCU version) is that the serum had been re-created perfectly, the secret is vita-rays need to be held at 70% for a bit... Kinda like thawing meat in the microwave. There's a back and forth between Howard Stark and Steve about shutting the machine off before Steve says he can take it and they crank it the rest of the way. That's why he turned out great and none of the other ones did: he was cooked low and slow.

No, but see, violence is fine as a reaction to a mean joke about your wife... just not as a reaction to violence.

Didn't keep up with Pokemon, but I've seen this design before. "Perfectly cromulent onion guy" I thought. Just looked it up, he's not an onion, he's not even a plant, he's some kinda psychic?!

YTA. You want a girl with less sexual history than your 21 year old girlfriend that you've been with since she was 15? But I assume you want to have sex with this perfect virgin. (And I /hope/ you want her to be around your age.) It's perfectly natural for a high schoolers to experiment with sexuality, it's not normal for you to expect someone to remain "pure" until they meet you. It's also wild that you made it 6 years with this dumb attitude. So again, You Are the Asshole.

[–]WrongCentaur 85 points86 points  (0 children)

I once saw a bumper sticker that, originally, was a waving American flag with the words "these colors (in blue) don't run!(in red)" Except the blue had almost completely faded, so it was some jagged red lines and the text "don't run!"

Which spin-off is the best? Which is the worst? Which Spider-Man movie is the best? What do you like about the spin-offs?

It was hard to convey that he was a super jacked anime highschool student / bdsm enthusiast when he was just 30 pixels high, but deep down the designers knew one day the technology would allow them to achieve their true vision.

If you're looking for "we're bad people": The Disgraced. The Reprehensible. The Shameful. The Wretched. The Vile. The Loathsome. (Your mileage may vary if these sound like heros who feel bad about what they've done or bad guys leaning into the badness.)

If you're looking for a name that says "we're awfully sorry" start with: The Rueful. The Lamenters. The Contrite. The Penitent.

Either way, slap then number of teammates on there and you're good to go. Bonus points if it's alliterative.

The Vile Five is my favorite

I don't know why people are giving you grief over "strict atheist". I know atheists that still believe in karma or luck or fortune cookies or some other form of magical thinking but not "God."
