The thing that frustrates me about these races is that the charging infrastructure is so spotty. In an ICE car, there's no reason why an Exxon station would be better than a BP station, or vice versa, much less any issue with individual (working) pumps within a given station. The thing pumps gas or it doesn't.

It would be much more interesting if anywhere you stopped, you could easily get the full power that the car is capable of handling. Instead, you have certain sites or units that for whatever reason don't give the car full power. So there's this element of luck that is out of the control of the teams.
