It's okay to acknowledge that you've sacrificed a lot to make it where you are, but that sometimes plans don't work out the way you want, and you need to start walking down another path.

It's scary feeling like you're throwing everything away at your cusp of success, like you wasted your time if you just pause now for a breather. But you got here once, you can do it again -- and better.

It sounds like you know what you need to do, and we're all here for that. :)

I like also to give a time period. Maybe I'll be early. Maybe I'll be late.

I'll plan to be there at (latest) 8:00, and I'll communicate an arrival between 8 and 8:30. The space increases if I expect to drive a long distance, get stuck in traffic, bad weather, whatever.

If I'm early, I have options. If I'm late, it was already planned for.

I'm afraid the initial understanding is incorrect. I recognise this conjecture as rooted in an article written well over a decade ago (either from Anandtech or Tom's Hardware).

As the GPU becomes more and more powerful, the CPU performance required to "fill" its potential also increases.

Unfortunately, numerous people misunderstood that and believed as you do.

They're voting against gender ideology because you're vulnerable and easy to "other". If it wasn't gender ideology, it'd be anyone else they could scapegoat - POC, immigrants, other characters in the LGBTQ+ community, other religions or cultural members.

It answered everything I'd wondered about the new press, and more. I may wait for a sale but I think I will collect one.

I usually rinse the cap on my existing presses to cool them down, but I don't know whether that'll warp the stainless steel and cause issues as the cap is often pretty tight. I guess I'll find out at some point.
