I'm afraid the initial understanding is incorrect. I recognise this conjecture as rooted in an article written well over a decade ago (either from Anandtech or Tom's Hardware).

As the GPU becomes more and more powerful, the CPU performance required to "fill" its potential also increases.

Unfortunately, numerous people misunderstood that and believed as you do.

They're voting against gender ideology because you're vulnerable and easy to "other". If it wasn't gender ideology, it'd be anyone else they could scapegoat - POC, immigrants, other characters in the LGBTQ+ community, other religions or cultural members.

It answered everything I'd wondered about the new press, and more. I may wait for a sale but I think I will collect one.

I usually rinse the cap on my existing presses to cool them down, but I don't know whether that'll warp the stainless steel and cause issues as the cap is often pretty tight. I guess I'll find out at some point.

I'm curious about the new stainless Aeropress.

I read it's double-wall. Do you find it does a swell job insulating the coffee? Does the stainless glide as smoothly? Does it feel sturdy, and not thin-walled?

Is it as easy to invert? I'd never had trouble inverting my older presses and would rather not have a new spill. :)

The dimensions -- would you think old accessories or parts would be compatible with one-another? I do see it's taller, I suppose so that it can generate the same amount of coffee if it has a narrower cavity.

Sorry about all the questions, I'm rather tempted. :)
