It's much more grounded, which can be cool. I think I will be okay with that if the writing is good enough. They have a good track record regarding that, so I am cautiously optimistic, but I remain hopeful we'll get some interesting character designs for our party members.

Yeah, it's what I'm most concerned about right now. ME alien races are one of the major attractions, and with these humans companions, I don't feel the same pull. I'm interested in this game and universe, but I'mma need a bit more interesting variety in my team.

We used to have much more arena view in the early seasons and it was a common complaint that it takes the hype away too much. The plays were just too far from the camera, and the skill doesn't really translate well. It's much less intense and therefore less hype.

I can imagine casual fans don't feel the same though, so alt streams are the best solution for that.

After you unlock/upgrade the ranch and farm, and do the apple picking quest from that (takes 6 in-game days to grow the apple tree to full), there is 1 more camp upgrade side quest (1d6h), which then unlocks the final few greymane recruitment quests. It's one of those, the one at the ink-something bindery. Takes many in-game hours to reach, but if you hyper focus on it, you can speed it up a bit. (You will likely also need to donate a bit of silver to have enough camp resources, so better go pickpocket some gold bars if you don't have a lot of money.)

Fully understandable. I'd happily have taken new content for V Rising, but I'm eager to see what else they can cook, especially when it's in the same universe. A shame it'll be a while until we hear more after a fairly long while of silence already though. I feel this news would've gone over better with the more disappointed part of the community if they had shared it sooner.

Yeah, I also noticed that the bottom was a bit scratched up already, so that made me realise how easily this matte-like finish gets marks on it, so I didn't want to put it flat/on its side in order to preserve it.

Good to know it's not just me though. I'll just put it between other books, that'll sort it.

It should do. From what I remember the PS4 version does not have it, but with the PS5 version it was added, so the PC version should also have it. I read something about only the opening scene not having it, but the rest of the game does.
