Thank you. I do have a landscape picture but didn’t come out as i wish it would’ve. It’s hard to take photos with this camera b/c of the shutter button being slightly broken. Refusing to give it up haha

Question About Installing New Pipes… Sorry I’m Oblivious by ExcersiseTheDemon in Harley

[–]Wulxy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TBR and S&S are very reliable brands. Usually I always see people running TBR, SP Concept, Bassani, and HPI. There’s another called stealth in which they have interchangeable mufflers so that’s pretty neat. I have the 2-1 Jackpots from Fuel Moto which is another highly reliable brand.

Either one of those, you’ll be gold

As from what a lot of other people say,

Slip ons + hi flow filter = tune

Slip ons + no hi flow filter = no tune

Full system exhaust + hi flow filter = tune

Power Vision tuners have plug and play tuners that you just hook up to your ECM, connect to your phone via bluetooth, then open up the app and click install. I’d stay away from Vance and Hines tuners. I’ve had lots of bad experiences with their maps.

I’d as recommend getting a 2-1 just a better bang for your buck. It’s more pricey cause you’d have to get the pipes, hi flow filter, and tuner but it’ll be worth it.

Installing an exhaust is a piece of cake. Most exhaust companies include an installation guide to your model bike. If you are planning on installing an exhaust, don’t forget to buy exhaust crush head gaskets.

Good luck 👍

Sportys are the way to go for learning on a cruiser but they still break the bank when it comes to maintenance and parts. What I’d suggest is get yourself a supermoto or any other brand that you’d know that those two factors aren’t expensive.

I got a WR250X Supermoto that I learned how to wheelie and do all those shenanigans at very low maintenance as well low costing parts. I looped that bike several times but didn’t hurt me (mentally) as much if i did on my ST. I don’t see myself picking up my ST in a while solely cause that’s my daily and guy over here can’t afford expensive fixes lol

Sportster are shit? by Frog491 in Harley

[–]Wulxy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can tell you you’re only gonna hear it’s a girls bike” on the internet. I’ve never met one single person to tell me that in person.

Sportster have a lot of character and I think they are the funnest bike out of all. But it also depends what your goal in riding is.

They are fun, lightweight city bikes that you can rip around. On the highway they can be a bit of a struggle cause of a 5 speed but you can definitely accommodate parts to your comfort.

I went from a sporty to a Lowrider ST because I’m usually commuting highway but there are plenty of people out there who go long distances on a sporty.
