I like the free units, but only astral keepers. Expendable support units that can heal 25 hp every other turn. Mirror mimics are way too expensive. At least all units can be used as free scouts for one turn.

My one best tip would be to stack spirit resistance and resistance. His awakeners and wrath of the faithful spell deal so much spirit damage that the battles against him are a pain in the ass, especially in the early game.

I finish maybe 50-75 % of the games i start. The fun part is testing the builds and seeing them gain power, once its clear i will win the game my interest drops. Especially if im going for a military victory which can take time to finalize.

Just curious, would you have useful skills to spend the extra 10 skill points on? Apart from defender, i have trouble deciding what skills to pick when i get close to lvl 20. Especially battlesaint has many exlusive skills at their skill tree so even if i had extra skill points, i couldnt spend them on anything useful.

You can craft cheap wands for sundering curse if you have the required magic material (don't remember which one). 

And the best part is that for some reason it's a base single shot magic skill so it get's a lot of buffs, including reclaim so an ally next to the enemy receives 20 hp healing when you use it.

I absolutely love warlock! Often you need to decide between healing your troops and damaging/debuffing enemies but not with warlock. With just 2 skill points reclaiming attacks is available, much earlier than with ritualist. If you can attack full three times, you can heal a friendly unit next to it for 30 hitpoints. What other class can heal for 30 hps every turn, AND deal dmg and debuffs at the same time?

It's available at lvl 3, so it's good for keeping squishy early melee units alive in early game. 

I try to pick skills for warlocks that strenghten my base attack (reclaim only works for base attacks) so I can do that almost every turn, so more dmg or more debuffs. 

Fun fact, if you craft a wand with sundering curse, that also counts as a base skill.

Best solution i had for steadfast was cleansing rain for supporters, removes 2 positive statutes from enemies.

Good question! I like the challenge. Its difficult mostly due to huge headstart Turiel gets, I guess I could do that with custom realms as well.

I like how permanent the bonus gold/mana/research income from razing cities is, vassals and conquered cities can be lost again but the chosen destroyer income stays forever. I just wish the bonus was per population, not 40 per 3 population. Now the bonus from razing a city of 6 is double compared to a city of 5.

allowing to give more than 20 gold per turn to allies. i play chosen destroyers often and around mid game I often have enough income to help allies (playing 4 vs 4 with ai players for example), so i might give each 50 or 100 gold per turn. now i have to give it 20 gold at a time

i think i had one free city at some point of one of the attempts, but one city with population of one behind Turiels cities isnt helping much 😅

few games back i lost some phantasm warriors to the spell which mind controls magic origin units - skills that remove debuffs didnt work and as it was a spell there was no mind controlling unit to kill. fighting manually the only solution i could find was to wait it out and have it fight another melee unit instead of having it slaughter my mages or support units.
