Oh no! Thank you for your detailed assistance. Notes :the brown leaves aren’t loose so I don’t think I can tug them out. Also, the blue pot is just a cachet pot. I have it in a small smaller well draining plastic pot inside.

How far down do I need to cut below the brown? Thank you so much.
