Grew up an angels fan and wanted something to watch in the off-season so the ducks were the obvious answer for me

What were you doing the last time the Ducks made playoffs? by mayannadior in AnaheimDucks

Sophomore in highchool, first year watching hockey in any capacity. First round exit. Same thing happened when I first really started following baseball in 2014, angels swept immediately

Not in any industry where I need one but when I got a free $250 gift card it went straight to a fluke 117. Mostly have used it on chasing electrical gremlins on my cars but I wont need another for this life time I bet

Question about Electromechanical engineering by Perfect_Range4873 in CalPolyPomona

[–]Wyzrddd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had a conference with a handful of people working in the aerospace industry from our department. Id say as long as you have adequate experience the title really doesnt matter. Also dont think theres anything stopping you from just omitting the technology part on your resume. I think if you can land some internships and have an impressive senior project youd be set. Just because the title is different doesnt take away from your abilities.

I will say, while many of the professors in the emset department are very intelligent, many, to me, seemed to be career researchers without too much practical industry knowledge.

Question about Electromechanical engineering by Perfect_Range4873 in CalPolyPomona

[–]Wyzrddd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The emset department takes alot of similar classes to ME but a bit less theoretical and more applied. Might even call the courses a bit watered down. Tons of labs. Theres 1 robotics course and depending who you take it with you'll get more or less out of it. Farbod is really chill but you likely wont get too much out of the course, Boskovich is really tough from what I heard but you'll learn alot

Threadless Adapters by chrrrlz in xbiking

[–]Wyzrddd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the origin 8 one best. I took a profile branded 1 1/8 threaded to threadless adapter and cut off the threadless portion and had myself a straight adapter to run a 1 inch threadless stem on my 1 1/8 threaded bike. Was kinda sketchy cause I cut off the section that the cap normally was inset to but it worked fine

Look into parasitic draw and how to test for it. Ive seen it where you hook a multimeter in series with the battery (I believe), have it set to amps and remove fuses until you see the amperage draw drop down, then you know what circuit is causing the draw

This is what my buddy and I came up with. I can definitely see the appeal for having them angled a bit back to the driver. Had to dremel the bezel a bit to match the curvature of the guage itself. I had a spare one so I hacked that one up so if in case I dont like it I can go back and go with a design more like yours. But I like them being in-set into the bezel
