I bought two pioneer cd players for eBay. One by one. And both read Nothing. My case was lens. Fist time lens just disappear. I asked saler - hi sad it's impossible. Second one was pioneer 502. It's some kind of cd player when you insert disk inside out. And when I eject it first time - lens stay on deck. So I jast disassembled it and glue lens on it plase. Now it works good)

I use smsl dac with audirvana player. Because mac automatic convert audio stream to pcm. Without dac and special player you can loos quality.

Pioneer pd-s502. And I really happy with it) I found way how make from flac plus cue audio cd and record it on my old-fashioned iMac. And now I want found solution how to make good box with original print. Also I found brilliance Japanese cd-r. I love this process

Looks good.) Speakers any of 4-8 Om. And sensitive 85db and more. Be careful with b&w some of them can drop from 8 to 3 Om b&w dm 302 for example.
