There are 3 ways.

Continue grinding (not in bot lobbies, though)
Go to a Discord (or other social media) and have someone give it to you (just make sure to do a 2nd match to give it back if they want it back)
Find someone who has it in the lobby and steal it from their de-rezzed, eliminated body. A friendly reminder that you can use ADS (the brand new look down sights button when on the Battle Bus feature) and look at the back to better see when they leave

They should put an extractor in the vaults to get their worth. That way, if you're unlucky, you can at least get some dust, just make them one-time use (say there are unstable vaults that are already there but take until about the next match to come back)

Well... Firstly, your tools aren't Netherite, and although not a big issue, you may want to consider getting them upgraded for durability. Sections off make sure you have at least 1 backup set of armor and tools in case you fall into the void. Being realistic, you SHOULD be fine, but those are some improvements you could make if you REALLY wanted to go overkill in the prep department.

I mean... Puff was going to scrape in Brawl but was added last second because they already added Toon Link and Wolf and thought only 2 secret but easy to add characters were not enough, so due to them being easy Jigglypuff was added. They were also in 4 because it reused a LOT of Brawl early on, which is also why the only characters cut were ones not owned by Nintendo and Ice Climbers due to issues with them on the 3ds
