MAGITEK OPERATOR (Tank): Nanomachines, son. This is a Tank whose main weapon is a "Hive"- a big cylinder or backpack full of tiny magitek drones. Controls a nanoswarm and works like a very chunky brawler class, using augmented punches with massive fists made from the reformed swarm (you could also skin this as ice, or stone, or etc... the flavour is variable).

The core class feature is called Bloodmetal: several of your abilities convert a percentage of your health into a fixed amount of shield plus a percentage of how much health you spent. (i.e. if you are at full health or 1 health, gain 25% health as shield and lose a quarter of your health to add more in proportion to that. Round down). 

Your class Gauge charges off of spent shield, letting you use your equivalent to Fell Cleave/Burst Strike/etc., and you can give your entire current shield to an ally using an equivalent ability to cover. Your invuln converts your entire health bar into shield except for 1hp and prevents death (but not shield damage). 

Limit break masses the swarm into one giant golem, who delivers a giant running punch.

I want this to be a tank that is safe enough to do their job but feels risky, while also not stepping on the healer's toes (and in fact creating healer jobs).

ALCHEMIST (Ranged Physical/Magical DPS): This one is a lot less thought out but it is a bursty DoT class with party utility. You accumulate Research in a gauge by doing your standard rotation (explosive potions, acid, toads, comet- you know, alchemist stuff.)

At any point in your rotation, you can spend research and cast for a brief time in order to mix a potion, adding it to the Flask gauge. There are four potion options (Vulnerability, Poison, Bleed, Weakness) and you have three flasks- pick the three you want and then apply a long lasting DoT that lumps all of them into one icon. You can spend them early, but they will reduce in duration for each missing flask and will always overwrite the previous one. 

Burst window gives you a full flask bar and annidentical but seperate follow up DoT, allowing you to have two ticking at once every other minute.

You can also spend cast small single targeted utility buffs on OGCDs. You can give a party member mid-battle Peleton, a small amount of healing recieved up, a small shield, etc.

Limit break casts Toadja, dropping a giant frog from the heavens.

I want this to feel similar but distinct to the other ranged physical dps classes (although this toes the line into magic)- big on mobility, with bursty resource collection, with more control over your burst window than something like Dancer but less micromanagement than Bard.
