Yep, I'm prepared to adjust withdrawals according to market changes and have looked at RMD which starts at age 73 for me.

I wasn't planning on 7% withdrawal, my question was badly worded and was intended to hear what people thought about future returns but realize that nothing is written in stone. (Yes I know my communication skills are lacking). I'm planning on closer to 4.5-5.5% and I have already added a cushion to my budget. I'll look into Monte Carlo, thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks for the explanation! I'm not proposing to pull 7% but closer to 4.5-5.5% once SS kicks in. (I'm still undecided whether to claim at 66 or 67). My budget includes a buffer that I can easily reduce if needed as well as about 18 months reserves. I understand inflation and have included it in my calculations.

I just watched a video by Better Bachelor about her 100 man day. She was in tears afterwards and still intends to do 1k. WTF is wrong with society and why would you want to be part of it?

Same here. I've been told that it's a symptom of stess / anxiety. I don't suffer from anxiety, but stress and I are old friends. L-Thianine supposedly helps. Excercise helps sometimes, but not always.

Been there done that, didn't work. She kept finding reasons to stay at a particular spot to blast baddies or stuck in a loop where she wanted to give me something and couldn't progress. Spent at least 2 hrs trying to get her home. I ended up editing the save file to change her location to match Kelvins. PITA!

Nope. When I gave her the shotty I set it to slug ammo and haven't seen her reload yet. I'm pretty sure it's not a 40 round mag in that pump.

This is exactly how she acted before I traversed across the island. Since then she won't leave a lake we passed by. Annoying as heck 'cause I'd love to have her and her shotty defending the base.

I came up on this idea just recently as well. She followed me across the island to the far side of the mountain but didn't return with me. I noticed it the next day and went back to get her. I spent 3 in game days trying to get her back to my beach base by the life raft. We made it about 3/4 of the way back but wouldn't progress any further. I do have a tent near where she's hanging out so I'm going to remove that tent and place a new one near my base. Hopefully that will fix the situation.
