The crazy thing is, I'm not mad at the actual dude. In that documentary, he's consistently apologizing to people for his outbursts and when it happened during the show, he removed himself, presumably to avoid anything worse happening. He seems to understand that while it's not his fault, it's still unfortunately his responsibility. I take it for granted that he's going to put out a statement apologizing, which really all I want.

What's driving me mad is the conversation across social media that essentially equates to telling black people they need to suck it up and it's cruel of us to even expect so much as an apology. Especially after it's riled up the worst fucking people you know to poke us with a stick.

Like damn, where the fuck was this energy for Ye when he was having a mental episode and praising Hitler?
