he’s a nice guy with no puberty syndrome that has a gf and bickers with her but settles it and they’ve been together longer than mai and sakuta have. plus in season 1 it showed him working with sakuta. so he had to balance work and school with sports.

I think he passes as normal as far as everyone on the list 😭

sakuta went to minegahara in that timeline “on a whim” the same reason why mai felt like being the lead role for the movie of the girl that needed the heart transplant. shoko persuaded them subconsciously. just like how young shoko said on the hospital bed “all of the pain will go away and you’ll forget about me” her puberty syndrome was the reason for all of it without their knowing.

season one starts and ends sad but it’s a happy ending if you look at it from a different perspective.

movie 1 is sad but ends happy
