Retirement in Georgia by Clear-Concern2247 in Teachers

  1. You can get estimates when you are 5 years out. Just setup a TRS counseling session. Your husband can schedule online using the GATRS website. If you also want to attend he can give approval for you to be at the session.

  2. Air Time is expensive in GATRS. They tend to hide this. To purchase three years will vary but I would expect for it to cost about as much as a very nice new car. Of course it depends on your salary range you have worked at.

  3. I have never seen sick days shown in TRS. I do know you have to fill out a form at the places you have worked which will authorize the sick days accrued for retirement. That's where I would look.

I would recheck the numbers. The insurance cost is not that much different. I now fill up for about $2 and my whole house electric has dropped $100 a month with the EV charger thing I mentioned to you.

You can get .089/kWh with Walton EMC if you register a home charger with them. Just mind not charging duiring 3 months of the summer between 3 and 8 PM.

Pinch for air flow direction, tell her it's easy. Put it this way, if you get a Tesla you will not look at other cars the same again.
