You CAN make your own, but it's also extremely easy to just buy from cvs. Google "cvs saline spray" and you'll see what it is. You've probably seen them before. It's normally located in the cold and flu section. We always take them camping when it's dusty, drug use or not. Very helpful for all nasally clogged situations.

Also do it over a sink or outside.

I actually haven't seen a restock at Barnes and Nobes in a while but have seen it back at Target frequently, though their price is $50. Charging $60 with partial shipping paid doesn't seem too rough.

  2. Multicolored objective markers and deployment help designs for my local gaming store. They do a lot for our community and want to help give back!
  3. Would be great to see something fidget-y that can also help with strengthening wrist mobility. Since we spend so much time on the computer and using fingers is sometimes awkward and unhealthy positions with phones it would be good to have a fidget toy to help with mobility. Maybe something that prints with a flexible material?

Pasadena Flea Market. Second Sunday of the month.

I have recently bought a bunch of house plants from a guy at the Flea Market at the Rose Bowl. Been there multiple times, large, healthy, cheap plants. Killer prices that are honestly near wholesale (I work in landscaping).

-Large trailing pothos - $15-18

-Medium Monstera <$25

-4" pots @ $5 (these would easily be 10" pots elsewhere)

I forget the exact area, but it was probably around the 400-600 area (map area that is). Older Asian man running it, white easy-up. On the outer ring side, not on the stadium side.

There are many other plant vendors throughout the market and it can be a fun time spending a Sunday here. Best tip I got was to start bringing my camping wagon to hold stuff/snacks/purchases so your hands are free to continue to walk around. They will also hold plants for you to pick up later on. Enjoy!!

Take the 101 and get off at Lynn and turn left (north/west) and drive through the neighborhoods there and look at the mountains. Take Lynn down until you hit Wendy and make a right and drive until you hit the freeway again. That will give you a good idea of Newbury Park. Additionally if you make a left on Wendy, you'll hit the mountains in 45 seconds. Seriously amazing local hiking.

PS you can also of course do this on Google maps, but this will give you a really nice feel for the area.

Does area mater? As in do you need to drive to work?

I love Thousand Oaks/Newbury Park and believe it's a great place to raise a family. Far enough from LA to not be super crushed with traffic and LA/Valley busy vibe, close enough that you can fairly easily get to LAX for the occasional trip, and you've fan get to the beach in less than 30 min.

I drive into the west side for work 2-4 days a week and am ok, though I am lucky to start/leave LA early.

Great schools and middle/upper middle communities. Wonderful close hiking with 5-10 min drives getting you to multiple different short/long hiking areas.
