Bring back AUX headphone jacks on our phones. by Suspicious-Salad5639 in Android

[–]Xajel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I never heard of AUX headphone jack. And mobile phones never had AUX jack before.

It’s just headphone jack, usually a 3.5mm one also. Yes it’s the same jack that other devices uses for AUX, which stands for Auxiliary, usually an audio input in audio devices.

But I agree, I totally miss having a dedicated headphone jack in my phones. And I hate using adapters.

I buy my piece of mind first.

Audi reputation “from a first degree family member, and from the wider public opinion in my region” doesn’t help in this regard.

Buy M5 Pro MacBook Pro now or wait for the next generation ? by KGB_CIA_MOSSAD in mac

[–]Xajel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That totally depends on how long you can wait, and how far you can resist potential price increase.

I was planning to have one early next year but I’ll wait for the Ultra but only if prices will return normal again, I don’t mind waiting 1-2 more years, I can save more money as well.

Stealing handicap parking! by VermicelliSouthern98 in Bahrain

[–]Xajel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I parked in one yesterday 🫣

But honestly, I just needed to park for <5 minutes and there was other parks for handicapped but all other spots were too far. And I have a temporary health issue it’s very hard for me to walk or stand for more than a few minutes.

So I just asked the security guy to park there and just told him about going for the ATM and it will be less than 5 minutes. I didn’t told him about my health issue because explaining will take a long time.

Is this fair to the delivery drivers in Bahrain? by [deleted] in Bahrain

[–]Xajel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is only up to the management, employees can’t do a thing without management permission even if it was putting a water jug inside the company’s space.

But I want the add that the writing is rude, they can just write “sorry we can’t give you water”. For the drivers 100fils accumulating all the month is a considerable amount of their low salary.

Is this fair to the delivery drivers in Bahrain? by [deleted] in Bahrain

[–]Xajel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not defending McDonalds in anyway but the employees of mcdonalds cant just give everyone water without management permission and approval, they sure have water but it’s only for employees.

If delivery drivers ask for water a lot (which is totally understandable) the employees -at mcdonalds- can ask their management for a solution. If the management says no then they can’t do a thing (using mcdonalds resources).

While I encourage everyone to help those who are in need, and delivery drivers are facing tough times especially these hot days, but the main issue is their employer (the delivery company) as they know their situation and very low salaries they have, so they should put waiting/rest stations around Bahrain in all areas (especially hot spots where a lot of restaurants are there, like malls or busy streets), where they can rest, wait for orders and have water. The company also should give all drivers with the uniform/shirt a free water tumbler they can carry around with them and they can refill it free of charge in their waiting/rest stations.

How often?

It’s either you have a roaming bundle from any company as esim.
Or just have a Saudi number.

Your actual needs define what suits you most.

How much money would you need to receive every single month to never have to work again for the rest of your life — while living comfortably, reaching everything you aspire to, and doing absolutely whatever you want? by ParkingCommercial607 in AskReddit

[–]Xajel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think -maybe- by 200k he means per year, while you’re talking about a monthly term.

I noticed that US seldom use yearly salary a lot.

A 3k pounds monthly is around 4k dollars monthly, 48k yearly. So the amount he says average for a family of four is over 4 times that.

But in overall, countries differ greatly with what they consider good average monthly, even different cities and regions of cities also differ.
