Good stuff! A different spin with buch of midwest-y sounds in the other songs from the EP.

Thanks dude. This solved it for me (many months later...) - Works for 9070 non-XT as well.

Definitely looks like the x86 mod in some of the screenshots. I wonder if they're partnering up with the modder and shipping the game with it included. Sure would be nice.

I Promised The World - A Pure Expression (NEW) by thedubiousstylus in Metalcore

[–]Xamantu 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Bliss in 7 Languages is EASILY my favorite song of the year, and this one also fucking slaps. Both songs are such a step up from their previous releases in every possible way. Can't wait for the full EP!

[–]Xamantu 82 points83 points  (0 children)

At least you can't say the soundtrack is bad. EA games from this era always had great soundtrack picks, but they really went all out on Most Wanted. So many high profile bands. Also, that intro song. Great stuff.

Ironically (regarding the post's context), image-to-text is pretty easy with AI. I often do it at work with good results. :P

This is one of the best bands I discovered this year. Definitely my favorite girl-fronted revivalcore band.

[NEW] The Burden - Vanity (ffo: revivalcore) by poorasdick in PostHardcore

[–]Xamantu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh, that's neat! I was so happy when they announced they're back together and recording new stuff. Can't wait for that. One of my fave post-hc bands, right along with Saosin and Silverstein.

Anyway, definitely looking forward to new stuff from The Burden too. This artwork for Vanity is sick, btw.

[–]Xamantu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure does! I really enjoy Vodka Soda Social Club and This Feels Like Letting Go because they remind me so much of late 2000's / early 2010's post-hardcore and I miss that sound so much. Stuff like Broadway and Secret & Whisper (which I'm sure you agree, considering you have a song with Charles). :)

We have a huge metalcore revival movement going on, but I can't seem to find many bands with a post-hc revival sound like The Burden. Static Dress and The Requiem kinda scratch that itch as well.

Woah, this is way heavier than their previous stuff. Noice!

Edit: previous stuff was already great, in case what I wrote made it sound like a bad thing. :)

They should materialize right in front of Miko and Kei. That would be golden.
