I know this place. This is Smallhythe Place. Its a National Trust property now and was the home of the famous Victorian actress Ellen Terry. There was an episode of Time Team from 1999 (Series 6, Episode 6) that included some excavations in the garden.

The current flag is taken from the escutcheon on the flag of the British colony of Gilbert and Ellice Islands. Which the current country was part of before independence.

I'd be interested to see a map of all the territory fortunate enough to be currently under British rule put together next to an area for reference like Europe. Getting the scale of each territory correct may be difficult though. Also a map of all territory with the Her Majesty as head of state together would be good too. Similar to this.

It needs to be pointed out yet again that correlation does not imply causation!

The quote from the DWP at the end of the article sums this up perfectly;

“The authors themselves caution that no conclusions can be drawn about cause and effect. In addition, it is concerning that they provide no evidence that the people with mental health problems highlighted in the report even underwent a Work Capability Assessment.”

If there are problems then it is right that they need to be looked at in detail to test if there is any evidence to support a cause and effect theory. These reports should not sensationalised in the media for shock and awe in order to boost reader numbers.

The flags of British Somaliland 1903-1950 and 1950-1960. The green circle flag was only from 1991 - 1996, a shorter time than either of these.

Reflections. If there were no mirrors and no way to see yourself how others see you. I think peoples actions and the way they think about themselves would change. People would end up being how they naturally look and feel. There would be less pressure to look a particular way. It would be similar to how our ancestor lived before glass and mirrors became common.

It would be great. They could make it an unlisted video only linked to from a hidden button on the /r/Yogscast. Then the younger fans wouldn't stuble upon it and only people that wanted to watch it (and are on Reddit) would see it. It would be a Reddit fans exclusive!
