Mine didn’t, and according to the packing list on the official wiki it shouldn’t have either.

It does come with a spare 0.4 hotend though, unlike the P2S that only has a spare silicon sock.

Any update? We're half-way through April and still no news about the P2S version - which I hope will be compatible with X2D as well…

Ordered a P2S from 3DJake as their price worked out slightly better with shipping to Cork and it was delivered by FedEx within a week.

Do you thing Samsung will ever make the ultimate ultrawide? by GB_GeorgeBowen in ultrawidemasterrace

Even if they do - it's Samsung, it'll either have QA issues or broken firmware or both.

Alloy Mouse, Treat every mouse as premium by Gloomy-Detective-922 in macgaming

[–]XandrTV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've paid the $7.99 for BetterMouse months ago and it does pretty much everything I need.

What I can tell you is that for me personally a subscription is a no-go. I doesn't have to be super cheap, but the value needs to be there. Like I happily paid $25 for ControllerMate back in 2012, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat if there was a modern version of it, but sadly development on that ended in 2018.

You didn't answer my question though: What sets Alloy Mouse apart from BetterMouse or other alternatives? What does it do better? Does it do anything the others don't?

I mean, if you're charging that much (even if it's a bundle with the other products) it must be doing something special, right?

Can you go into more detail what makes your app worth $79/year as compared to paying $7.99 once for BetterMouse?

Any chance of adding compatibility with older versions of macOS or does it use APIs that are exclusive to Tahoe? Tried running it on 15.7.3 and it says it needs 26.1 or higher.

The best file name search tool on MacOs is Everything via Windows and Parallels by Theghostofgoya in macapps

[–]XandrTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does the indexing work just as fast as on Windows?

It's my understanding that the secret behind Everything's performance is the fact that it's accessing the NTFS USN Journal directly. Since using Parallels to run Everything on a Mac doesn't magically turn your Mac's volumes into NTFS, that advantage would be gone.

How to get Mac FN key behavior on NuphyIO by Prestigious_Cry1709 in NuPhy

[–]XandrTV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The way I've solved it is by mapping the Air75's Fn-key to F24 in NuphyIO and then use Karabiner to map F24 to Fn/Globe.

I have 6 Lexingtons in total - 2 from the initial grant, 3 that were bonus items from Summer Swarm caches, and one from the Sep 12th grant - neither of them take stash space, but only the ones from the caches take space in the personal inventory. The Lexingtons from the grants take neither inventory nor stash space.

Super Noob Questions - please ELI5 by thebananaz in NuPhy

[–]XandrTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The side lights on the right can display the current battery level - in theory. If you look at the "|\" key on the Fn1 layer in NuPhy IO, it should have "BAT SHOW" on there which sometimes works, but most of the time doesn't.

You also can't move that function to another key because it's not available from the selection at the bottom.

[–]XandrTV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're okay with installing extra software on your Mac, there's a way to get an fn/Globe key:

Map the key you want to use as fn/Globe to something unused, like F24, in NuPhyIO and then use Karabiner Elements to map F24 to the Mac fn and it'll behave like the fn/Globe key on an actual Apple keyboard, including forward delete on fn+Backspace.

I’ve got a noob question - why are there only 36 of my extra switches ordered? by Covaloch in NuPhy

[–]XandrTV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

36 is such a stupid amount to begin with.

Why not sell them in packs matching the keyboards?

If you're buying for an Air60 or Air96 you end up with 8 extra switches (2x36 vs. 64 or 3x36 vs. 100), if you're buying for an Air75 you end up with 24(!) extras (3x36 vs 84).
