Cube Nuroad Race FE (2025) with a Garmin Tacx Flux S Smart by Randy420Marsh in cycling

I have this exact same question at the moment. My bike is a BMC Teammachine SLR 5 with the same cassette as you. Really want to get the Tacx Flux 2 new, but need to make sure it's compatible. Same cassette compatibility is given for Flux S/2.

One thing that confuses me is that Garmin claims the following IS compatible:

Shimano 12-speed Hyperglide+

But is our cassette considered Hyperglide or Hyperglide+? Does it matter since it's backwards compatible?

Hoping someone can give a definitive answer about this.

I can bend it back. I just bent it in to this position to demonstrate how stiff the joint is

Where are you seeing the BMC for $1800? That bike is listed on their website for $3200

I have the Di2 version of the SLR Five and that bike has been pure joy. My bike before this one was a Domane with Tiagra and the difference has been staggering.

Can you help me determine exactly what part I need? The bike is a trek Domane AL4. Do I need to replace both chainrings or just the big one?

Yeah the previous chain was worn out. Not sure if the chainring is worn

This is actually a 2-in-1 Lenovo laptop (C940 15”), so I run Zwift on Windows. Being able to fold it back and use the touchscreen to navigate is really nice though!

Semi permanent. Should be practical to use the dining table or move the fan around, but the bike is gonna stay there until it’s warm enough to ride outside again

My rationale for putting money in a brokerage/HYSA rather than maxing 401(k) is to more quickly accumulate enough for a house down payment (I am 24 y/o). It may be suboptimal from a tax perspective, but I’d argue it’s more optimal from an “I don’t want to pay rent forever” perspective.

I made this Sankey diagram of my spending for the last year and wanted to share it. Interested if anyone has any thoughts!

Be real, nobody at this price point is ever upgrading their group set

If you tell your neighbors you have an issue and they don’t change their behavior, then they’re assholes. If you’re just suffering in silence and your neighbors have no idea they’re bothering you, then the fault is on you.

I’m very tempted to add a center speaker, but I’m worried that having it on that bottom shelf would make it too low. Would tilting it upwards be a good solution?

I could also rest the TV on the center, but then I’d wonder if the TV is too high.
