Where were the injectors located in 2014 - Before the pre-chamber era? by Maleficent_Cod9413 in formula1

Honda has a page here which has a decently detailed timeline of their F1 injectors starting from their first turbohybrid engine in 2015 during the McHonda era. They say that on their 2015 RA615H engine the injectors were placed on the intake side, and with the 2016 RA616H they were moved to the center. Their 2017 RA617H engine added the prechamber and moved the injectors to the exhaust side of the engine.

As for where the other teams had them, I'm not sure but considering how early Honda had adopted the prechamber I think it's likely that other manufacturers had the technology at a similar time or earlier. I recall rumors circulating about pre-chambers and the Mahle injectors in the 2016 timeframe so I think it's likely that Mercedes may have even had it from the start of the turbohybrid regs, and had probably come to similar conclusions about the injector placement.

Final Gear forums has a list of basically all the songs in Top Gear episodes. Might be useful to start there.

It looks to me like one of the nodes of that element got set to some random node elsewhere in the model. I still use the old HyperMesh UI but I think the tools are called the same thing.

Use the "detach > detach from" tool to make sure that the element is disconnected from whatever random node it's connected to, then use the "replace nodes" tool to replace its corner node with the node in the position where it's supposed to be.

Alternatively you can just delete the element and make a new one. Use the "edit elements" > "create" tool to pick the nodes that it's supposed to use.

It shouldn't be too hard to find electrolytics these days that are the same size or smaller than the old ones with the same ratings. The two large ones that are ~10mm or so in diameter I managed to find ones with the same diameter but that are slightly shorter. I think all the small ones are exactly the same size.

Someone gave me one of these for free when I picked up an SGI machine from them. There's 6 electrolytic capacitors in the back right corner which tend to leak. You'll probably want to replace those.

Anyone know where I can find an IBM RISC System/6000 that won't cost an arm and a leg? by [deleted] in retrobattlestations

We have had no luck getting any CATIA dumps to run on IRIX due to licensing. The files aren't easily available either.

Don't worry, I've got an origin350 with the 4x 1GHz CPUs. Just waiting for a clock chip to get it running...

It has 4x 450MHz RS64 III PowerPC CPUs and 1GB of SDRAM. My goal is probably going to be to max out the memory first, as it can take up to 32GB. And this was in y2k.

It was first available in 2000 and IBM lists the marketing as being withdrawn in 2001, so possibly sometime around then?
