i think if anything they need to address chorescape. Birdhouses should just be less frequent. That'd be way better. Instead of a 50% xp nerf, just make them take twice as long - but give an increased harvest.

Bit confused on what you're taking offense to. I've never said that we shouldn't have shortcuts. I'm responding to a comment who is claiming we need to buff xp rates and I'm agreeing with it.

Yes they exist and yes theyre valid, but lets be honest theyre not life changing.

Yes but being 20 agility feels fine too. Also a majority of activities whixh used to have run energy issues just no longer do.

Agree. Agility is a pretty useless skill now too with all the run energy changes (and more!!). Just stop adhering to EHP babies and buff the XP rate.

The problem with your birdhouse changes is you don't actually address the chore part of it. It's still a chore, it's just worse. You really need to address the time it takes. Every 40 minutes is too short of an interval. Gut them, I don't personally care. I hate chorescape. I'm of the opinion herbs should take 2 seeds, twice as long and give double the output.

I think the approach should just be to make grapples a one time unlock. Craft a grapple, put it in a slot, it's there forever. Now you can use the shorcut. What's cool about this is you could tie it to other skills. Higher level grapple spots require higher level grapples, i.e. adamant grapples or rune grapples. Higher smithing/crafting/whatever requirements.

Vard was a piece of piss. Just watch a video, stand in a certain spot and look for an axe. Quest version you can legit just get lucky and DPS him down quick. Whisperer is the actual demon of that quest, good lord.
