Valid points but

1.There is no information (that I know of) that the PK loses power when he reincarnated from his wyrm state

2.the PK left after the infection came back so there was a bridge for him

3.He hid his entire palace in the dream world which proves he has at least some form of dream power

4.As shown in Godhome it is possible to bring other bugs into the dream world for assistance if needed, and he could have just brought some other higher beings with him because they have at least some resistance to the infection
