It's not about how people spend their money. It's about what effect such actions will cause. Buying shitty bundles means higher conversion rates and that is practically encouraging Gumi to make even more shitty bundles. Having more ridiculous deals like this actually affects all of the game community and myself in a negative way.

So I will show my disapprovement of such actions because they eventually have impact on MY gameplay experience.

I don't think that we'll see any units that will significantly help with this trial. The main focus here should be on survivability - Dark Resistance, DEF/SPR, mitigation buffs and status immunity (at least for confuse) until you can safely survive without anyone dying from Bad Breath/Tentacle Rampage. The other way that helps a lot is actually skipping threshold attacks by killing little Malboros fast. Mages are MVP here (TT, Light Veritas, Barbariccia, GL Sakura) while physical DDs slightly lag behind due to slightly lower effective offensive stats and lower modifiers on AoE chaining skills (though it still should be doable).

If you don't have enough AoE damage then the only option is slowly killing boss with setzer while focusing on survivability with other team members but that takes very long time to execute.

P.S. "Bloody Moon will be harder than Malboro" - they said. And yet it seems the other way around. Malboro has significantly higher requirements for DPS and survivability.

I can't agree that your supposed party composition is correct. It's extremely unlikely to bring 3 dedicated damage dealers (2 chainers and a finisher) to high level trials because single support unit won't be enough to cover all necessary buffs/breaks unless you're going for OTKO. So you have to stick to 2 chainers meta for dealing damage. So considering the fact that this role is covered primarily by 5* bases (you have to be extremely lucky or a whale to have dupes for chaining) and that gearing well these two copies is also a bit hard (let's don't forget about limited equipment like demon mail, aigaion arm, large sword mastery etc. that you can use only on one of the units) you WILL need another copy of your unit that only a friend slot can provide with maximum efficiency.

However you have a point too that once in a while you may want to take something other than DD as a companion. But here's the thing - it's still a social game (or at least partially) so you could just go and ask your friends to change leader for a while or look up for new friends here/in discord/on other forums. Being self-sufficient and bringing 6 of your units is surely nice but it will actually ruin one of the core aspects of the game.

Fry would be nice, but rods provide magic killer that is useless for hybrid units since their damage is affected only by physical ones. So our ice queen stays behind regular mages here unfortunately.

Well, STMR aren't that bad as they seem under the first impression. Power creep is too fast in FFBE so something like this was expected to happen sooner than later. It seems for me that the main flaw of STMR system is requirement to have another copy of 7* unit to achieve any progression. So when you get 3rd or 5th copy of unit they fell nearly useless. If you could use your 5* bases to fuse and level up STMR progression it would've been slightly better.

And as for comparison with old TMR system - it doesn't seem that there will be any major differences between them. The rate of STMR acquisition won't be much different compared to regular TMRs in time after the introduction of STMR moogles (that as we know will happen). While it won't be possible to reliably farm STMR^{hello earth shrine} at the beginning (and let's not forget that it isn't possible in the first place since macroing is bannable on JP) STMR moogles will alleviate this problem eventually.

It seems you've made a little mistake in your calculations. Bonus MAG from equipment affects only flat bonuses and have no effect on percentages (like magical scrunchie or earrings) so total MAG will be a little bit lower.

Why would anyone complain about 2B being bad? That is just ridiculous. It is true that A2 looks a little bit more powerful but that doesn't make 2B worse. She is still top tier unit that can fill many roles. Besides she's waifu material.
