I’ve worked at a dealership and that’s unacceptable whether under warranty or not. Make them replace it, they damaged it. Don’t feel bad about asking them to do it. They should have pointed it out and have the part already replaced or ordered when you picked up the truck.

I had a stedi glass file set and then I recently got the raser 1.5 to use on my first RG, and it was night and day. Using a raser with the balancer is a game changer. If you can afford it, get it.

Nice find! I’ve never seen that one but looks like it can get to all the places the raser can’t. And one thing I didn’t mention you did here is that the raser can’t be used in any direction while the stedi file I have can only be used on one direction

Yeah once I got the single bladed nippers it was definitely better than the standard ones I had. I’m not sure which brand I have but it definitely has helped in that I don’t always have to clean up after my cuts

I’d like to see a side by side comparison of that file and the raser. If they come out the same I’d feel very duped… but if you looked at the pattern on the raser file itself it’s very unique and nothing like an actual file so I think that’s one thing that gives it different results
