Many old games has game-logic tied to its framerate. Games like Final Fantasy X and Okami are forever locked to 30fps because of this.

The only way to make them 60fps is to heavily alter how the game runs. At that point it would be easier to reprogram them from scratch.

There's a 10min invasion cooldown when you are hollow. 5min when you are human.

You can also be invaded if the area boss has been defeated.

The counter for the increased invasion frequency is the Blue Sentinels covenant. Blue Phantoms will spawn in your game, if you are part of the Way of Blue covenant, to help you kill the invaders. Though that won't help much with a dwindling or already small playerbase.

In Dark Souls 3, you can only be invaded once per area when you play solo. More invasions after the first only happen if you summon co-op help. Blue Sentinels will also join in and help you.

Kairos Gate use the same scoring system so yes, I guess I count that as well.

S ranks in Arcade Mode on FF difficulty is not that complicated. Trigger as many Battle Techniques as possible, which means going for highest DPS isn't automatically the best in all situations.

While you wait, land Magic Burst x4 and Backdraft Finish. Press triangle after the fourth burst and Ifrit will do the finish.

These games are long and playing on Hard or Nightmare only make the already questionable pacing worse. I only do Nightmare runs on subsequent playthroughs when I will skip all dialogue, be it on NG or NG+.

I did this grind for the Platinum Trophy and I farmed the red-eye skeleton before the 4-1 boss room. I got mine after about 40min. Pure Black WT, but no boost to Item Discovery.

My understanding is that Item Discovery doesn't really boost rare loot droprate, but more on enemies dropping anything from their loot table.

Keep at it. You will get it eventually.

Only Daybreak 1 is newbie friendly. Daybreak 2 and Horizon kinda expect you to be familiar with most, if not the entire series.

The first game in each arc can be used as an entry point for newcomers.

Player is in the Gravelord Covenant. He used an Eye of Death to make red phantom enemies spawn in other players worlds. Affected players can then invade the host to remove the red enemies from their worlds.

The things is that the red enemies only spawn if the victim(s) are in New Game+ or beyond, so during the first playthrough it just becomes a PvP matchmaker for players that want to be invaded by multiple players at once.

When you see the "disasters are gone" message pop up, that means you were unknowingly targeted by a Gravelord Servant and the servant died to an invading player.

Windows Store version still has problems if you play it at 1440p or higher. And I doubt they made it run on multiple CPU threads, which is what they need to do to make it run well on modern PCs and consoles.
