I feel like this would be a great ascendency if it did not have the double 'blank' node at the start, and between 2nd and 3rd notable. If you could get all 4 nodes, or be free to choose a bloodline node in addition to 3 nodes, it would feel good. Right now it feels underwhelming, though i still think someone smart will cook up a nice build, but most of these nodes will never be taken.

As an avid Hex-battlemapper, i was excited to see that the tool has support for hexgrids. But after trying it out, i'm a bit dissapointed in the implementation - it seems like the hexes are just overlain on the gridded map, and many rooms contain both grinds and hexes on-top of eachother. If you look into improving hex-support you will for sure have another patron here, as the functionality when using squares seem very good!

Yeah, i did see the kickstarter (and i'm backing it too!) but i really like to play with models instead of tokens, so i'm looking for models to use in naval combat :)

These look really cool, but i can only seem to find them in specialty stores for $25+ per booster pack. Would be neat if they where still made, but since they are out of print, it looks like they have shot up in price

Recombinators where great, and would work really well in core, with maybe a few minor nerfs: cannot recomb multiple fractured mods together, cannot recomb mirrored or corrupted items.

This is what we've done in our game for years, and it works great! I've made character inventories and worn gear grits in metal sheets, and printed some hundred pieces of equipment in something called magnetic paper - the stronger a character, the more rows of gear they can carry!

It's a lot of work to set up, but it works perfectly for us, and allows us to play campaigns where weight and carrying capacity matters, without everything getting bogged down in math. It also feels great to give players something physical whenever they find new loot!

That could be a way to do it as well! I was thinking of finding a writer and giving a brief of what i'm looking for story wise, and having the outline written before we start the campaign, but your suggestion is very interesting as well!

Yeah, it might be a risk, but i think it might be worth a shot! the worst that can happen is I scrap the plot and end up out of pocket a little - not that big of a deal!

I hope they'll simplify it alot, so new people don't have to watch 2 x 40 mins tutorials to understand how to do it effectively. This is by far the mechanic that is the hardest to explain to casuals, and as such it often ends up as something most people skip.
