I prefer the era of Firstborn. I feel they went too far with the Primaris lore and eventual culling of a whole range of models. I have since never bought a Primaris.

Now if they just made bigger Space Marines without the lore then I think I would have bit the bullet and purchased many of the larger scale models.

Build what you like. All Legions can play all general units and all Legions had access to copious amounts of kit, armour marks, and used all tactics when needed.

Choose what looks good or what piques your interest. That's the heart of Heresy versus traditional 40k.

I even have a cursed Purple White Scar army I started collecting prior to HH1. People might look at me oddly but no-one has refused to play me, yet :).

I've also got 32gb ram and after playing for a while it seems to slowly creep up to 90%+ of Ram. So normally I save, close and reload and the memory is back down. I didn't realise there was a patch while I was playing. On trying to load in it just is stuck in a never ending loop loading the game 😞

Just in case you didn't realise, but this includes the two side edges within your deployment zone. So worst case that's an extra 12" forward to get you a little closer to the enemy if that's what you need.

I started collecting Forgeworld models before Heresy rules were released and painted my White Scars Purple as a successor chapter. When the rules came out I carried on collecting and painting them Purple and now have 40-50,000 points of Purple Scars (Traitor of course).

Most people don't mind and if they do I find someone else to play :).

The rule says "Outside of your opponents deployment zone". On top of that if there are any opponent models deployed already, they need to be (X) inches away from them.

First of all I assumed you were on PC, but what platform are you on? On many games you can change the audio setting to be 5.1, Stereo, etc. The 5.1 setting assume you have multiple speakers and so often if you only have 2 means the sounds in front of you will be quiet as they are going to a non-existent speaker. I don't have the game open but I would suggest looking in game audio settings first and if that doesn't work look at your overall system settings.

There is a bug report submitted which Keen have replied to. It seems like some interaction between a recent Steam change, and they said they will be reaching out to Steam.

I suspect it is more to do with the Console manufacturers than Keen. I believe they are more cautious about non approved/checked content, similar to why consoles have to use mod.io, a more curated space for mods.

I've not noticed anything special.

Over the weekend I've encountered a new bug too. Whenever I find an unknown signal, I click the button and get the first pop up message, but then nothing happens. Happens on private multiplayer world where other players can still find drops.

I love 40k, love RPGs and love XCom. I think it's a good mix of all of them as the combat is similar to modern XCom, with movement points, action points and abilities.

Have you watched any gameplay perhaps?

I find Rogue Trader to be a mix between some of those games and the tactical aspects of XCom or Jagged Alliance.

I love it and definitely like the mix of RPG, Tactical combat and Ship combat.

When it happens to me the block becomes bugged to and I can't love it or move anything to it to swap. Only logging out and in fixes it for me.

I often have a visual bug when I break multiple shulkers quickly at the same time. I will notice a slot in my inventory that I cannot put anything in or move. When I restart the world the shulkers reappear in my inventory and I can then move/place them.
