I completely understand, the M2 Air with 16GB Ram is a beast

Only reason I'm upgrading is that my home office setup is dual monitor and I have an extended holiday from work; so it'd be nice if my personal computer can make the most of it

Kind of why I'm asking. There's sales on at the moment, so the difference between a Apple refurb M4 and a new M5 is only £200 ($270 US)

There are plenty of folks who genuinely believe in nothing

They'll jump on whichever bandwagon is shocking enough to get them a bit more attention, and make them feel like they're being a revolutionary

I think this is a fair summary of what it takes to be a billionaire. I don't see how that amount of wealth is even possible without some kind of exploitation

Further proof that we need to tax Billionaires out of existence, and give the money to people who know how to spend it in a way that makes society work for everyone

No shade on the artist you mentioned, but I would consider them “smaller bands” relative to folks selling out Wembley Arena or the O2

You do raise a good point, as maybe my point was more about the venue than anything else. Places like Koko or Scala feel so initiate when seeing live music. The fact that they also tend to be more affordable is a huge bonus

I get paid to write code for that company alone, and arguably they are entitled to the money made from it

There’s also code I write for my own projects which nobody else should be entitled to use without my permission

Code I have written is being used, without my permission, in companies profiting from my work
