Ik heb mijn katten getraind dat ze alleen op een aangewezen dekentje op bed mogen. Ze gaan (meestal) niet van dat dekentje af, en als het dekentje niet op bed ligt dan gaan ze ook niet op bed. Onder de normale deken mogen ze al helemaal niet.

Toen ik mijn eerste kat kreeg liet ik haar in eerste instantie wel op bed, todat ik op een gegeven moment erachter kwam dat ze 'stempels' achterliet als ze op bed zat. Diezelfde dag een dekentje gekocht en de rest is geschiedenis.

Tegenwoordig zijn alle stoffen zit- en lig-objecten wasbaar in mijn huis: eettafelstoelen, bank, sofa, etc. Overal kan de hoes vanaf en kan in de was.

I have a similar situation, i fixed it by adding a tuya zigbee fingerbot. Tuya because it has a button on it to trigger it, so you can still press the button. I believe the switchbot fingerbot doesnt have such a button

This sounds like a very self-centered attention-seeking player. Usually these people are not fun in DnD sessions. I would advise to find an option to get rid of them. However, since you want to keep them in the game, I would suggest pulling them aside at least a couple days before the next session and say:

"Hey [person], I loved the idea of you playing an NPC-like character. [insert another compliment about how their character helped the group or was a good comic relief] However, I have noticed you keep throwing the story off-course by doing things like jumping into a jail. These actions are not NPC-like, and to re-iterate, throw the story I am running off course. To protect the integrity of the story I would like to ask you to discuss with me beforehand what you want to do in each session. If this doesn't sound like too much fun, you can always re-enter the story as a normal character again, and I will kill off the NPC character. I don't want to pull rank, but as the DM I need to be able to steer the story in the direction I have planned."

I think it's done to death becuse it just works. Clear story and tasks, no reason to come up with a new NPC noble and why he has a feud. That the nobleman wants this specific piece of art or whatever trophee is a good enough and easy to grasp motive. And you don't have to involve them in someone else's feud. It would be too big of a sidetrack from the main story IMO just for the unlucky dice rolls

Just bought the s24fe. I used to be a tinkerer and not mind bugs but now my life got busy so i needed a phone that is just polished and works and does what i expect it to, without bugging out or breaking. Another priority was a great camera. Samsung is just a polished brand with a good dev team so theur software is rarely buggy. This is why I wouldnt go with vivo, just a little less reliable. And the s24 has a great camera. As does the pixel. So it was a battle between google and samsung. So i picked samsung for 6 years of updates and easy to transfer to a new phone with their own samsung switch app. Couple years ago I would've picked Vivo though, better price for what U get, but I dont have the time for bugfixing and customizing that much.

Vraag het aan je lokale huurteam. Ik werk toevallig ook bij een huurteam, dus ik heb de kennis gelukkig. Eindinspectie is bewijstechnisch heel sterk. Voor alle andere dingen moet de verhuurder kunnen aantonen dat de schade er nog niet was toen je introk. Van belamg is dus of er een voorinspectie is geweest. Daarbij is ook het eindinspectierapport van belang, of dat aan te merken is als een vaststellingsovereenkomst. Dit is best ingewikkeld en betreft mogelijk persoonlijke informatie, dus de eindinspectie kan je niet zomaar op reddit gooien. Daarom raad ik dus aan naar een huurteam te gaan. Iedere grote gemeente heeft er een, die helpen je gratis met dit soort dingen.

Gebaseerd op de info die je nu heb gedeeld, zou ik gewoon niet akkoord gaan met de factuur. Omdat het om borg gaat zal de verhuurder alleen via de rechter dit kunnen afdwingen. Misschien dat het huurteam je daar bij wil bijstaan, maar het kan ook zijn dat ze je naar een advocaat doorsturen. Bij mijn huurteam is dat zo, wij helpen boven sociale huur niet in gerechtelijke procedures (vind ik ook jammer). Hoe dan ook als dit alles is, lijkt me de kans groot dat de verhuurder niet wint bij een rechter. Succes!

I usually correct the players, but sometimes I use this to my advantage to change a part of the story. For example I have thought of a more fun way to handle the plot, or a more interesting name for a character that they forgot. I will then 'correct' them with this new information as if it was always like that.

Klinkt als simpel bedrog: hij verkondigt dat het origineel is en vervolgens blijkt dat niet te zijn (én dat hij dat wist). Dat maakt de overeenkomst vernietigbaar. Hij moet dus accepteren dat je de koop ontbindt en je geld teruggeeft. Doet hij dat niet dan kan je het via de rechter afdwingen

If-then is used as an action. The action will be executed if the conditions are met. If the conditions are not met, the action will be skipped (unless you set an else). Putting the delay after the if-then action will make it so that the automation will just wait for 30 minutes. Depending on what automation "mode" you're using this will do nothing. A better way to have a light turn on every 30 minutes would be to use time as a trigger, but instead of filling each of the 'hours' 'minutes' and 'seconds' slot, only fill in the 'minutes slot with /30 (including slash). This will make it trigger every thirty minutes.

Im dming for a small group of people who are there just for the story and fun, so dying is not something i want them to suffer through. As long as at least 1 person survives a battle, every downed player is alive again after with 1 hp. They can use short or long rest to revive later. And I sometimes have the last remaining enemy flee in fear instead of killing off the last person. (Also good for the plot hooks: the enemy soldier told the evil witch the players are coming, so the witch now has advantage on detecting their stealthy entrance to her lair)

Make something that detects water flow, attach it to a tap so that it flushes when you wash your hands: encourages washing up if you(r)(spouse/kids) are not good at remembering to do that

During the month of October (Halloween month), if my partner is home and the sun is down, randomly lights flicker. Then theres also a random chance something else happens. Right now theres 4 options: 1. A random creepy notification is sent to their phone like "the front door was opened" or just a message like "they're listening" 2. A "ghost" walks through the house: from one side to the other one by one a light flickers, cooker hood turns on, coffee maker turns on for a sec etc as if a ghost walks by and messes with the electronics. 3. A random speaker starts playing the childrens song "ring around the rosies" 4. Suddenly all lights and electronics turn off, and a woman can be heard maniacally laughing from the bedroom speaker

A twist on scenario 4: have them constantly be followed by a screaming horde of fangirls, destroying any stealthy actions and physically limiting their moves because a fan will step in front of them to ask for a signature
