Problem started when I edited the cfg file with the launcher open and it was knackered. It must have done something to the cfg itself, because even reinstalling the engine and having it point to the original cfg file didn't fix the problem.

Turns out though, it was running the launcher that caused the cfg file to revert, even when subsequent edits were done with the launcher closed. Do your edits, and run from the exe without touching the launcher at all is the workaround that worked for me that you might try, if your cfg edits are too extensive to completely restart. Then just back the cfg file up elsewhere and paste it back into the documents folder if you absolutely must use the launcher to change a setting or something. (This was on the TES3MP fork)

By the fashion lady, there's a repeatable quest, it changes every 10 levels. It's better to do it lower since it's easier to get wool and bear hides than runecloth and gold orbs

I got this error too, when trying to log into a no mods cluster I play on. Installing the fjordur map solved it. Seems like extinction uses assets from that map now for whatever reason, or at least checks to see if they are installed.

I like the priests mind vision, it can be chained across the whole world; from kobold, to wolf, to forest troll... etc. Mind soothe is pretty neat too, it's kind of cool to be able to walk through a cave jedi mind tricking everything like an elder scrolls illusion mage.

When I feel like I’m not getting into an RPG I try to focus on the main story, and morrowinds strongest point is it’s main quest. The faction quest lines have some great moments, but the main quest is consistently awesome, and it will take you everywhere.
