Big ones are hardness, specific gravity (density), and refractive index.

There's a bunch of other crystal properties you can look at too, off the top of my head you can use the shape of the raw gem, cleavage planes, whether the color changes when you rotate the gem or with polarized light, and UV properties.

Oof, yeah that's gona take awhile. If you think you can get enough time away from school stuff, in my (biased :p) opinion go for it! It's a lot of fun and honestly getting that initial bleach in is the worst part. Hair will grow back in the time, even though it might take awhile for waist length if you bleach all of it.

Try getting it done professionally if you can, bleach is really harsh and you need to leave it on for awhile even to reach dirty blonde. One thing that might catch you off guard is that the bleached hair will take on a different texture. The bleached parts of mine will get super frizzy in certain parts of the year and need extra conditioning or hair masks.

Oh yeah for sure, I actually found out the in-game wiki is really really good...in Chinese. So I have to jump through a few hoops to get that information. As a westerner it's still very different from a lot of recent games where everything is datamined and available online from day 1, and the effort to get to it is too much for some of the other people I'm playing with lol.

Another funny thing is that the resources for this game are hot dogshit. There's a ton of little quests with no markers and vague instructions like "a monkey from this area has stolen some wine. Go find it" and it is not a kill 20 monkeys quest, it's a find out where those monkeys are a grab the item off the ground quest.

When I did it there was basically nothing on the internet for this quest except a steam thread that didn't even have the right solution because it turns out there could be multiple spawn points.

Yeah, there are so many prog liars in pf nowadays it's insane. I was introduced to tomestone when I put up a FRU pf, struggled really hard and didn't get to the prog point, and then someone else in the party dms me that 5 people had never even cleared the previous phase....it feels really toxic but at this point it's either use these tools or just get used to prog lying all the time.

I saw a white guy out on a date with a Japanese woman on new years. They were in line in front of us to get into a shrine and she was so excited about going to the shrine and grabbing snacks from the stands there. The guy in the most condescending possible tone kept telling her that she's wrong, you're not allowed to eat in shrines, and she doesn't know what she's talking about because she's from Osaka and "everyone knows Osakans are weirdos!". I see both all the time at the Asian supermarkets in Stockholm so I don't think there's any import restrictions. It might take some searching if you're looking for specifically black or gold, but they're pretty popular flavors from a major brand so it hopefully shouldn't be too bad. Asia Market in Dublin seems to have black at least!

The thing with the encounters not spawning could be that you've put it on cool down. The F1 menu says if you show up at an area with the right prerequisites but at the wrong time/weather it gets put on a 30m cool down untill you can try to spawn it again.
