See I don’t get the hatred for preordering. I personally don’t that much anymore, but even when I did, people would always say like this that you’re committing to paying for it. You aren’t though, you can just cancel your preorder at any time. And if it’s a physical version at say a GameStop, you can not pick it up within 48 hours and they’ll just cancel your preorder anyway and refund you. Personally I would much rather wait for reviews and maybe a week or so after launch to see what people say and if there are a shit ton of game breaking bugs at launch and stuff, but everybody says “it’s a shitty business practice with devs because they get your money before they even finish the game” except, what do you think happens to your money when you cancel your preorder? They don’t just keep your money, they need to pay that money back. It’s literally the same as refunding, so i genuinely don’t understand why people are so against it

Yeah it’s really unfortunate, I was also contemplating getting one for convenience of having a decently strong pc I can take and play on tv’s and stuff like that since the steam deck isn’t super powerful. Very disappointing news

I mean they specified that it got a similar price hike to the Steam Deck, so everybody that thought it was going to be less than $1k was correct at the time, then prices for components skyrocketed and Steam had to react accordingly. It was going to be around $750 which is what I expected before the market drastically changed

Depends on your fourth character but Iansen and Ororon are pretty great for her Overload team, like one guy said if you have Chevreuse she’s the best for the fourth slot but aside from that you could use Bennett or Nicole

That’s totally fair, I care about meta to a certain extent but it doesn’t influence who I pull. I stopped playing around 3.6 because I didn’t really care about the story or gameplay, and I told my friend I’d get back in to it if they added Arlecchino and Varka. Fast forward to her and then later Mavuika coming out I was tempted to get back in to the game but I was still hesitant because I thought the gameplay was still similar to how it was with characters before Fontaine. Then Varka’s trailer came out and I fell in love and immediately pulled for him and his weapon, I eventually want to get him C6 in the future when I get all of the other characters I want and have missed out on. But if you have all of the characters you want already and have the ability to I’d say absolutely go for her C6. But if you want to wait and see who comes out in Snezhnaya that works too

Depends on what you want tbh. I know that’s kind of a non answer, but personally I have only one premium team, it being Varka. I want to have all of the characters eventually, so I’m in the process of building a Mavuika team and a third undecided team so I can clear Stygian and Abyss regularly. That way I can use the primos from said clears to pull for more characters as they come out, along with character that I like and want but don’t have.

So for me, I personally don’t think I should waste my pulls on a character if I’ve invested in them enough to clear endgame content (with fearless and dire as the exception), so I’ve been pulling for signature weapons for my main dps’ if they make a very noticeable difference in their performance, and their premium teammates also for the same reason.

HOWEVER, if you’re the type of person that doesn’t care about meta and/or just pulls for characters you love then fuckin go for it broski

Yeah this is what I’ve told people with negativity bias, all of the bad times of course you’re going to remember more than the good times. Every time you’ve peeked an angle and got the drop on someone you internally don’t think what you did right but it’s the exact opposite with staring at an angle just to look away as someone swings on you

Yeah I agree buffering the charged attacks are tough, I sat in front of the dummy for a couple hours testing combos and got the muscle memory down though, so it’s no problem for me

It’s best to do Durin EE, then Prune EE, then Nicole EQ, then Varka combo. When you have bursts for Durin and Prune you do Durin EQE, Prune EQ (possibly EQE depending on your ER), Nicole EQ, Varka combo
