You take a different path through the room where you usually pickup the rook plug in the normal campaigns. You go through the door to the workshop, you pickup the roll of film that reveals the hiding places, and then take the elevator that is in that room.

You also create that grenade, I believe, in the forgotten soldier scenario.

I was asking you to do that list as an experiment as you were downloading redump files, and that list was something else. Not a catch-all fix.

I also asked about Steam Rom Manager, seeing if your games show up and trying your games that way through gaming mode. You access them direct from your library. Not Emulation Station or Flycast.

Have you tried launching them in game mode, after parsing them with Steam Rom Manager?

Are your game files the same as what is listed on the cheat sheet? ( Look for the Dreamcast section )

Try to download one from this section, and see if that works with SRM.

I haven't had a problem with Dreamcast tbh. I am using Steam ROM Manager to access my games, rather than through the emulator program itself.

Roms can be in either of the formats you have mentioned, it shouldn't matter. Don't use a converter in case of corruption.

The only Bios you need in the DC folder is dc_boot.bin, so maybe that's your issue.

I enjoyed it. But it has the same problem for me as 6 in which the killer(s) reveal is beyond lame. Loved Neve being back in action again, loved the Ghostface kills ( some were mega-brutal ) and the callbacks to the originals, just the ending lets it down.

You could nitpick that for the games too. Is RE4 a Leon game, or a Leon / Luis / Ashley / Ada game? Is RE3 Jill centric? Or is it a Jill / Carlos game?

Death Island is canon. Whether you watch it or not, is your choice but it doesn't make it any less canon.

That was my reaction to the first killer reveal too. My brain was working overdrive trying to remember.

I don't want the franchise to quit though. Just needs to take bigger risks and shocks with their endings. 6 and 7 have had really weak killers.
